Dining Among Flowers
My first visit here, the entrance looked colorful and I initially thought it was a store selling cultural and creative products. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a restaurant offering Thai, Western, and desserts with a wide variety of choices. Since there were many of us, we ordered a bit of everything to try. The flavors were quite standard, and the prices were a bit high for locals but reasonable for tourists. Personally, I preferred the Western dishes, and the desserts were also good. The presentation of the dishes was very appealing, making it a great spot for taking photos.

Dong Madame Cafe: Where Beauty Meets Flavor ✨❤️

Avg. Price per Person — 500-600 THB
Rating — ⭐⭐⭐⭐
📍 Visiting Dong Madame in Chiang Mai was a delightful experience. The cafe is conveniently located near Wat Umong, within The Suan Buddha Dhamma area, making it easy to find. As soon as you step in, you're greeted by a beautifully aesthetic space filled with vibrant flowers, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere.
🍮 The food at Dong Madame is mostly Thai fusion and is as stunning as the surroundings, with each dish beautifully decorated with edible flowers—perfect for capturing that Instagram-worthy shot. The appetizers and desserts were particularly impressive, both in taste and presentation. They're truly experts in making desserts—highly recommended!
✨ One thing to note is the portion sizes, which are quite large. I highly recommend coming with friends so you can share and try a variety of dishes. For solo travelers, it’s best to stick to just one appetizer, one main dish, and one dessert, as you might find it challenging to finish more.
💲 While the prices are on the higher side, the generous portions and quality of the food make it worth the splurge. And of course, don’t forget to snap some photos—the floral decor and overall aesthetic make for some truly memorable shots.
Dong Madame is definitely a must-visit if you’re in Chiang Mai, offering a blend of visual and culinary delight.
