We set off from Shenzhen for a 4 day, 450km roadtrip on our ebikes. We can get nearly 100km range since our bikes have big batteries. On the first day we drove out of Shenzhen and down along the coast to Daya bay. We only had a minor mishap when we drove through a petrochemical zone that we shouldnt have. Oops. The driving took almost three hours until we arrived at the hotel where we found a place to charge our bikes. Day 2 should be more rural and less main roads. #yearofrabbit

The guesthouse is located in the Huizhou Daya Bay tourist resort area, within the Guanhaixuan complex. Right next to it is a small commercial district by China Resources, offering plenty of dining options. Just a few hundred meters down the stairs, and you'll reach the beach. Since it's the off-season, the beach isn't crowded, making for a great experience! The hotel rooms are superbly located, offering a full range of magnificent sea views. The large floor-to-ceiling windows open up to a vista of the ocean that is truly refreshing! There's also an extremely spacious balcony, furnished with a small tea table and a hammock, where you can quietly enjoy the sunrise or have a few drinks at sunset, feeling utterly relaxed! The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and cozy, and are equipped with a projector and Bluetooth speaker with excellent sound quality. There's also an induction cooker, a small refrigerator, and other kitchen equipment, which is really convenient.
