A Beauty!!
It's a beauty and well worth making the time and effort to come see - relatively speaking of course, in line with the rest of your trip. Between the Crystal Mosque and the bridge, Terengganu was good to visit. The mosque is lovely, set in peaceful grounds, on the river, and very beautiful at sunset. Lovely friendly and welcoming people. #mosque #terengganu #terengganutrips #terengganuvacay #malaysia

Masjid Kristal (Crystal Mosques) 🇲🇾
The Crystal Mosque is well known for it’s majestic architecture overlooking by the river. It is located in Kuala Terengganu on Island of Wan Man. This monumental structure is mostly made out of glass, steel and crystal. Under the daylight, the whole building shines brightly light a crystal. However, the scene is equally breathtaking at nighttime especially around sunset.
The surrounding is well maintained and the locals are friendly. There are a couple of souvenirs and food stores are worth checking out.
There is no entrance fees to enter the Mosque. I will recommend to visit this place if you in Kuala Terengganu. It is a wonderful place for photography.

Our trip to Kuala Terengganu was a delightful mix of culture and natural beauty. We explored the stunning Crystal Mosque, set against the backdrop of the Terengganu River. A visit to the Islamic Heritage Park was insightful, showcasing intricate replicas of famous mosques. The local markets were vibrant, and the beaches, especially at Redang Island, offered breathtaking views and relaxation. An enriching experience overall!

As an avid traveler, I've always been drawn to places that blend architectural brilliance with spiritual serenity. One such place that has left an indelible mark on my wanderlust-infused soul is the awe-inspiring Crystal Mosque, nestled in the heart of Terengganu, Malaysia.
My journey to the Crystal Mosque was nothing short of enchanting. The anticipation built up as I crossed the Terengganu River, catching my first glimpse of this shimmering masterpiece. Standing tall on Wan Man Island, the mosque's crystal-like minarets and domes glistened in the sunlight, creating a truly magical spectacle.
As I approached the mosque, I couldn't help but be struck by its intricate design. The fusion of steel, glass, and crystal was unlike anything I had ever seen before. Each facet sparkled with a radiant glow, giving the mosque an ethereal quality.
Stepping inside, I was enveloped in a sense of calm and tranquility. The soft carpet underfoot and the gentle hum of prayers filled the air. It was a moment of reflection and appreciation for the architectural brilliance and spiritual significance of this sacred place.
One of the things that struck me most was the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity. The Crystal Mosque seamlessly blends Islamic architecture with contemporary design elements, creating a space that feels both timeless and cutting-edge.
Outside, the mosque is surrounded by lush gardens and a serene river view. I took my time exploring the beautifully landscaped grounds, pausing to admire the mosque from various angles. It's no wonder that this location is a favorite spot for photographers and artists seeking to capture its otherworldly beauty.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the mosque underwent a breathtaking transformation. The play of lights on the crystal elements cast a spellbinding shimmer across the entire structure. I watched in awe as the Crystal Mosque became a radiant jewel against the darkening sky.
My visit to the Crystal Mosque wasn't just about admiring its architectural magnificence; it was also a journey of cultural understanding. I respected the customs and traditions of this sacred space, dressing modestly and being mindful of the spiritual significance it held for the local community.
In the end, my travel experience at the Crystal Mosque in Terengganu was a true testament to the power of architecture to inspire and uplift the human spirit. It's a place where the modern world and ancient traditions harmonize, reminding us of the beauty that can emerge when different elements come together in perfect balance.
As I left the mosque that evening, I carried with me not just memories of a remarkable journey but also a deep sense of gratitude for having witnessed the radiant beauty of the Crystal Mosque—a glistening gem that will forever remain etched in my heart.#art #terengganu #couplestrip #malaysia #mosquevisit #mosque

There are looks like modern fantasy mosque. But I was unlucky. Because they were closed by lunch break time.
But I could take photos with mosque. I’ve seen a lot of them in the world. It’s nice views. I was looking for how to go by local bus. Then I didn’t know that. I wanted only take photos. Then driver took me front of there during head to Pulau Perhentian islands.

Crystal Mosque, Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia
The most famous mosque in the east coast of W. Malaysia is without doubt the Crystal #mosque. It’s located in Kuala Terengganu, a bit far from the city center. It takes about 20 minutes by car. It’s built on an island which is turned into a park with other attractions. That fact that it’s by the riverbank makes it reflect lights even more throughout the day. These pictures were taken right before the sun set.
You can easily spend a whole day in the surrounding area. That’s exactly what I see, many families with kids. The river is quietly passing by. Many activities including riding bicycles, fishing, or simply having picnic with family and friends. It’s safe and peaceful. There is also a platform set up for wedding ceremony. The mosque itself is worth to be remembered for.
