We booked a lake view twin suite, and you can see the amazing mountain and lake views from the room.
Sitting on the swing chair on the room's terrace is very relaxing.
The room is super large and spacious, equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, a Bose Bluetooth speaker, and of course, a super large bathtub.
The facilities are really great.
There are two 1.5-meter beds and a sofa bed. If you're a family of four, I think it's very comfortable.
In addition, the room is thoughtfully prepared with welcome fruit and cake, and they also gave my kid a custom duck. 🐥

The hotel has two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Considering the temperature, we went to the indoor swimming pool.

The big white fish is a must-order, it's super tender, a taste you can't get in Shanghai.
I also highly recommend the dessert, jujube soup with glutinous rice cake. The rich and sweet jujube soup with the glutinous rice cake is so sweet.
Breakfast is exquisite and has everything you want to eat, especially the chili at the noodle stall. I recommend that those who like spicy food try it, it's amazing! I ate two bowls of noodles just for the chili. 🤣🤣🤣

Secluded Vacation - Tonglu Conrad
Hangzhou Tonglu Conrad Hotel. Driving from Shanghai takes about 4 hours one way, but overall the road conditions are not difficult. The hotel has contracted a mountain, and the rooms are built along the mountain. Each room has a different view. Most rooms can reach various public facilities through the hotel's shuttle bus, and the shuttle bus does not take as long as mentioned online. We booked a deluxe lake view suite and were upgraded to a full lake view large terrace suite, which has a super large terrace directly facing the lake view.

A two-day, one-night secluded trip, staying in a duplex lake view suite. The design elements are primarily natural, combining the elegance of Chinese style with rustic simplicity, perfectly blending art and life, serene and timeless.
During the weekend, I happened to catch the hotel's outdoor camping event on the lawn, with various games and competitions. I even wove a pink bracelet and scarf by hand. You can also play on the lawn with the adorable alpacas, Kangkang and Lele. It is said that all guests can participate.
All three meals were at the hotel. Notably, the Chinese restaurant offered the famous local fish, Qiaozuiyu, which was firm and delicious.

📍Location: No. 2 Yinzu, Tianxi Lake Tourist Resort, it is recommended to drive by yourself, 🅿️ parking is especially convenient.
✅Facing Tianxi Lake, occupying the whole mountaintop, facing the mountain and the lake, it's full of the immediate sense of landscape painting, it's really stunning. Even if you do nothing, sitting on the terrace basking in the sun and enjoying the scenery is extremely pleasant.
✅I have to praise their facilities, which are really complete, including tennis courts, gym, constant temperature swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, restaurants, small park, etc., rich entertainment facilities, and you can even feed the little alpacas, which is also great for family fun.
✅All-lake-view large terrace suites, with huge terraces, stunning lake views, and fun facilities for children, are really amazing. The hotel also has a Chinese restaurant and a Western restaurant, the taste is really good, exquisite and delicious.

I couldn't bear to check out from the secluded mountain view B&B in Tonglu!!
I chose this B&B for the National Day holiday, and I fell in love with the floor-to-ceiling windows at first sight. Every day, opening the curtains reveals a precious view for city dwellers.
⛰️ Wei Chi is located halfway up the mountain, with only one neighbor. For transportation, it's better to drive, but it's also convenient to take a taxi in Tonglu. Also, you need to reserve meals with the B&B a day in advance, or eat before you come.
⛰️ Although the hot springs were not open during the National Day holiday, there were still many recreational activities in the B&B. The entertainment room next to the restaurant has video game machines, pool tables, and table tennis, and the small bar has checkers. They also organize movie nights.
⛰️ But without the hot springs, Wei Chi lacks some charm. The temperature dropped a bit during the National Day holiday, so it was not suitable for swimming. Considering the cost performance, it's a bit expensive, but I heard that the boutique B&Bs in Tonglu are all in this price range. I recommend visiting in winter or midsummer to experience more fun in the deep mountains. For me, opening the window in the morning, sitting on the terrace in the silence with only the birds singing, returning to nature, returning to myself, this relaxing moment is priceless.

▪️We stayed in the second phase room type with a great view, surrounded by bamboo forests, and super strong design sense. Each room type has its own characteristics
▪️Before check-in, the housekeeper will create a group chat to reserve the food in advance. The service during the stay is great. When you meet the service staff on the road, they will proactively tell you where to take better photos, which is very considerate~
▪️The hot springs are open from November to March of the following year, and we happened to catch up! We experienced the exquisite life of soaking in a private bath~ The privacy is very strong, and the experience is super good~ ▪️The package is very cost-effective, and my friend and I lived a refined life for less than four hundred per person~
🎄I drove from Shanghai to Tonglu Conrad on Christmas Eve. It takes about 4 hours one way without rest. It's quite far, but it's easier to drive after leaving Shanghai. Unlike the mountain road I drove to Tonglu B&B last time, Conrad seems to have rented a mountain, so the mountain road is much easier to drive and safer. The indoor underground parking garage has limited spaces. If it's full, you can park in the outdoor parking lot.
🏠Room: Conrad has buildings 1-6 (building 7 is under construction···), this time I stayed in the lake view terrace suite in building 6, which has a super large terrace. The view outside the terrace is also great, but it's a pity that the weather was too cold to use it much.
👩💼Service: During the stay, there were very few guests, and there were far more service staff than guests, so the poor service mentioned online, such as being ignored and the shuttle bus taking a long time to arrive, did not happen to me. However, the welcome fruit was just three apples, which was disappointing. The turndown service will put a signature teddy bear🐻 on the bed, but the duck🦆 I was looking forward to was out of stock.
🍰Breakfast: The place is small, but it has everything, and the same food tastes better than the breakfast I had at other Conrads. After the meal, you can ask the waiter for some carrots to feed the alpacas🦙.
🍲Restaurant: The Chinese and Western restaurants are in the same place, which is also where breakfast is served. I reserved a seat in the Chinese restaurant in advance at the front desk. The food tastes good, and the price is acceptable for a restaurant in Conrad. Diamond members can get a 75% discount.
🛝Scenic spots: There are some small scenic spots that are quite photogenic, but you need to explore them yourself. There are not many things for children to play with, mainly just strolling and taking photos. There are also two alpacas in the scenic area. They will be on the outdoor lawn when the weather is good, and at the entrance of the commercial garage when it's early in the morning or the weather is bad.
🏊♂️Swimming and fitness: The internet-famous swimming pool is beautiful and photogenic, and it's very comfortable to swim in. The gym is a bit disappointing, it's small and doesn't have much equipment, so I left after a glance
