How to have fun in Jingdezhen
🏃♡️No turning back: Sculpture Porcelain Factory - China Ceramic Museum - Taoxi Chuan Night View - Ceramic University Night Market - Hoe Moon Homestay
🥰Sculpture Porcelain Factory: The main road is very messy, there are many original stores of craftsmen on the side paths, rest in a coffee shop when tired, it was very quiet because of the rainy day, but usually it's super crowded!! The whole street has prices ranging from a few yuan to several hundred, highly recommended~
👉China Ceramic Museum: Start from the second floor, the top-trending 'Speechless Buddha' is on the sixth floor, you have to queue for a photo, but if you don't want a photo, you can finish quickly.
🍄Taoxi Chuan: The lights are prettier at night, and there are also many small stalls selling ceramics, the road planning is neater than the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, but it lacks a bit of novelty.
😋Ceramic University Night Market: A one-stop spot for snacks, restaurants, and desserts.
🏡Hoe Moon Homestay: A treasure homestay suitable for a slow life journey, where you can stay, make ceramics, eat, and drink coffee... More importantly, there is a group of lovely people here! It makes you feel the warmth of home~

I found a niche new inspiration town in Jingdezhen
"The green bricks and black tiles welcome the rain, and as I lift my gaze, I suddenly see the distant mountains shrouded in mist, with the rain and fog painting a scene. The heavy rain and the sound of tiles in the wind create a rustling sound, while the slender bamboos sway, hiding the green mountains behind the scenery. In my drunken babble, I speak of the ink by the mountain side, yet looking closely, I know I am but a guest in the painting."
Yaoli—a town suitable for strolling on rainy days
I think the term 'Jiangnan misty rain' couldn't be more appropriate to describe this place.
The river flows through the ancient town, slowly winding through the millennium, with the reflections of ancient houses and old trees on both banks painting a picture, where one can faintly see people in long robes enjoying tea and chatting by the river. Walking along the wooden bridge and strolling on the bluestone slabs, looking back, I find myself already in the painting.
Touring suggestions:
🎫 The ancient town is free of charge
Yaoli Ancient Town is quite far from the center of Jingdezhen, about a forty-minute journey, so it is recommended to drive or charter a car to get there.
It is suggested to go in the morning or before noon, as it gets more crowded in the afternoon and not very photogenic
Yaoli Ancient Town is a bit commercialized, but still nice, and it's not recommended to eat in the ancient town as it's quite expensive. You can choose to eat back in Jingdezhen
I think it's important to enjoy the scenery along the way when driving to the ancient town, it's truly amazing. When I went there, it had just rained, and it was super beautiful!!!
Oh, by the way, it seems you can pass by a tea plantation on the way, called Hanxi Village. I didn't go because I was so hungry and wanted to eat, but I saw photos taken by others and they were very photogenic. If you have the energy, you might want to take some pictures, it seems very nice.
Accommodation:
I stayed at the Chuyue Homestay, we drove there that day, and although the homestay is about fifty minutes from the ancient town, it's about the same time as from the city center. Moreover, this homestay is in Fuliang County, so it's quite close to the center of Jingdezhen, about a twenty-minute journey, which is very nice. The main thing is that it's quite convenient if you're driving. The one I stayed at is actually quite recommendable, the breakfast is super delicious, and I always eat so much that I'm not hungry until noon. The environment is very good, very close to nature (I ate so much in the morning, went to Yaoli, saw the food there was so expensive, didn't eat there, and didn't have lunch in the city until after 2 PM, luckily I had a big breakfast, or I would have starved)
If you want to stay in Yaoli for a night, there are actually many nice homestays to choose from. Next time I come to Yaoli, I might stay at "Yaohelou" and climb the surrounding mountains the next day, which should be very nice, and also get a view of Yaoli. I'll experience it next time I come.

The warmest homestay in Jingdezhen!!
With a plethora of homestays in Jingdezhen, what kind of services should a homestay provide now to highlight its uniqueness?
I think the emotional value provided by Chuyue Homestay is a great answer.
The philosophy and care of Chuyue are really touching.
1️⃣Environmental concept
The decoration in the room minimizes the use of disposable items and practices environmental protection conscientiously.
2️⃣Female care
The room has ginger tea, warm baby, sanitary napkins and other items.
3️⃣Family-like care
In the evening, they often gather around the stove to drink tea/drink wine or eat hot pot, the atmosphere is really good. Because the hostess and the host are very nice, and the housekeeper is considerate. There is no pressure at all, whether it's i people or e people can adapt to the warm atmosphere. Very healing, and you can meet a lot of interesting people!

It's snowing in the south! I'm in Jingdezhen!
I was woken up in the morning by the shout of 'It's really snowing'.
The children in the south are inevitably excited when they see the snow.
In this magical place of Chuyue,
Unexpected things always happen.
This is also one of the attractions of Chuyue, isn't it?

Weekend Photography · Jingdezhen
On a Friday afternoon, I took the high-speed train, crossed the long journey, and finally arrived in Jingdezhen. The location of this porcelain capital of China carries my childhood yearning and dreams. The high-speed train arrived in the night, and when the taxi drove to the destination, I saw the half moon outside the window, which was interestingly matched with the name of the homestay, Chuyue, and a warm current surged in my heart.
In the homestay, I joined the mutton hot pot dinner organized by the landlord himself. Among the people at the same table, half of them turned out to be my fellow villagers, and even the landlord was! In the conversation, I learned that they opened homestays in Yunnan, engaged in the clothing industry in Hunan, fell in love with coffee in Guangdong, and one was a traditional culture teacher in Jingdezhen. At this small dinner, we had the same aspirations, cooked wine around the stove, and shared each other's stories and laughter.
Early the next morning, I woke up early, feeling the fresh air and warmth of early winter. Walking in the fields of the village, surrounded by mountains, the villagers have already started their day. I saw the windmill familiar in my childhood in the field. At 8:00, I started to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The ingredients for breakfast are carefully selected and cooked by the host, full of natural deliciousness. Fuliang Chuyue Homestay
After breakfast, I went to the Le Tian market. This market, which is only open on weekend mornings, has a ticket price of 50 yuan. Here I saw all kinds of weird stalls set up by different designers, artists, and college students. They integrated their creativity and thoughts into the porcelain, attracting many eyes to stop. In the evening, I followed the advice of a local taxi driver and went to Yaoli Ancient Town to experience the Huizhou-style residential buildings a hundred years ago. When I arrived at the ancient town, the setting sun was falling on the mountainside, dyeing half of the ancient town golden. The whole town is quiet and peaceful, without too much commercial atmosphere. I found a restaurant by the water and asked the boss to stir-fry me a chili and meat, the taste is really great! After dinner, I took a walk along the shore and then returned to the city. Yaoli Millennium Ancient Town
During my trip to Hanxi Village on Sunday, I saw the spectacular scenery of a tea mountain and the unique charm of the earth lamp installation art. Whether looking from a distance or close, high or low, it has a different charm. Here, I felt the gift of nature and the infinite charm of art. Hanxi Village
