🔖Super niche alpine pasture, there are alpine grasslands and herds of cattle and sheep here.

⚠️But the environment here is primitive, if you don't have rich outdoor experience, it is recommended to leave before dark.

❶There are only 4 tree houses, so be sure to book early!
❷But the small courtyard includes dinner and afternoon tea; the tree house only has breakfast, and you can go to the restaurant in the resort for meals.
❸Yangtianwo can't be found on the map, you can ask for directions after arriving at Dazhubao Township, the road conditions are complicated, it is recommended to go with others.
❹If you come in other seasons, there will be more outdoor activities, such as digging bamboo shoots, picking, etc.

Yi people
The Yi people are a minority here. Yi New Year means New Year.
It is a traditional Yi festival in the Daliangshan and Xiaoliangshan areas.
The Yi New Year lasts for three days.
On the first day, they kill a pig and eat steaming hot pork rice, and take a sip of homemade wine.
It is the satisfaction of a year's harvest.
On the second day, they drink a bowl of steaming hot heart and lung soup, and take the divided pork to visit the elders and worship the sacred tree together.
On the third day, they bake buckwheat cakes.
They visit relatives from afar, bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, and change the horse reins.
The homestay experience is amazing. Whether it's for a family trip or a vacation, it's a great place to relax.

I went to Kasa Resort for the National Day holiday.
I spent two days in the mountains during the National Day holiday. I didn't want to go out and get caught in the crowd. I just wanted to lie down quietly.
I booked the Kasa Treehouse No. 1 more than 20 days in advance.
Before booking, I read a lot of travel guides. There are only four treehouses in total.
Everyone says that No. 1 is the highest and has the best view.
The treehouses are actually quite close to each other. No. 1 is indeed slightly higher, but the other treehouses also have their own characteristics and are quite good.
Kasa also has several courtyards. Although I didn't experience them, they look very good. They are very suitable for several families to play together.
It feels very comfortable to have a barbecue, drink, and chat in the courtyard! There is also a free Yi costume experience, which is really beautiful!
About the journey: It takes about 3.5 hours to get there from Chengdu. The last nearly 5 kilometers is uphill. The road conditions are very good and it is very suitable for a weekend trip.

Guide to Kasha Sha Country Resort.
1. Preparation
● Documents: Bring valid ID such as ID card.
● Clothing: Kasha Sha Country Resort is located in Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan, Sichuan Province. The temperature difference between day and night is large in mountainous areas. Please prepare clothes suitable for different temperatures, such as thin jackets, long-sleeved shirts, long pants, etc. You can also bring some ethnic costumes for taking photos.
● Sunscreen: The sun is strong in mountainous areas. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat, etc.
● Other items: Prepare personal toiletries, commonly used medicines, camera, etc. If you are traveling with children, please bring their commonly used items.
2. Transportation Guide
● Self-driving: It takes about 3 hours to drive from Chengdu. You can navigate to "Kasha Sha Country Resort". There is a parking lot in the resort, parking is convenient.
● Public transportation: First take public transportation to Mabian County, then take a taxi or local transportation to the resort. However, this method is relatively inconvenient. It is recommended to choose self-driving first.
3. Accommodation options:
● Characteristic courtyard: There are a total of 7 characteristic courtyards, ranging from two-bedroom to four-bedroom, suitable for family outings or friends gatherings. The courtyard retains the architectural style of traditional southern Sichuan residences, with wooden structures hidden in the forest. The indoor area has large glass windows, offering panoramic views of the distant mountains. Each courtyard is equipped with a dedicated butler, providing attentive service.
● Treehouse: There are 4 half-mountain treehouses, with Southeast Asian style. The three-sided floor-to-ceiling windows are spacious and bright, with a wide view. The treehouse has its own terrace, offering views of the sea of clouds. The living experience is unique.
4. Food and dining
● Local specialties: The meals provided by the resort have local characteristics, such as Mabian dumplings, with thinner skin and more filling, with a delicious taste; Ye'er pao is made of glutinous rice flour wrapped in sesame paste sweet filling or fresh meat salty filling, and wrapped in fresh tangerine leaves, fragrant and moist.
● Characteristic hot pot: In winter, the hot pot is worth trying. There are various options such as cured ribs pot, mutton pot, and free-range chicken pot, but it needs to be booked in advance.
● Roasted piglet: Selected alpine free-range pigs, roasted whole, with special seasonings, color and fragrance are tempting, but this dish may require an additional charge.

There is a courtyard in the mountains, with transparent large floor-to-ceiling windows. When you open the window and push the door, there are mountains and wind. This is probably my ideal life.
