I checked out @cafe_batavia and let me tell you, it's one of the most charming spots in Jakarta. Everyone says it's a must-visit place, and I can see why! The architecture is all classy bistro vibes with a touch of colonial decor, and the rustic interior is so cool with old parlor floors, marble tabletops, and art deco furnishings. It's popular for a reason! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I went there for lunch and decided to try their Soto ayam lemongan. It's this rich chicken broth with vermicelli, cabbage, bean sprouts, boiled egg, and braised chicken served with steamed rice. Let me tell you, that chicken soup was next level. It had this amazing rich taste and was loaded with ingredients. The chicken was super tender too, so good! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To wash it all down, I ordered their Batavia Punch, which was a refreshing mocktail made with pineapple, soursop, lime juice, and honeydew. It was the perfect drink to balance out the flavors of the meal. Loved it! 😍
