Menorca’s South-Eastern Beauty
One of the hidden gems of Menorca is the natural rock bridge called Bufador de Binibequer (the blowhole of Binibequer) near Cala Torret. This impressive formation is the result of centuries of erosion by the wind and the sea, creating a spectacular arch that frames the turquoise water below. To reach this spot, you need to walk for 10 minutes on a rocky terrain.
Another beautiful natural place to visit is the bay Cala Rafalet, just north of the holiday village S’Aalga. After a short but picturesque hike, you can descend to the water and enjoy a peaceful break, as the location is not very popular among tourists.
The southeast of Menorca is also home to some of the most stunning sand beaches on the island, such as Cala Turqueta, Cala Macarelleta and Cala Es Talaier.
