One of the world's largest cities in terms of area is Davao City. We have nearly every type of tropical terrain on our more than 2,400 km2 of land. From islands to islands, as one of our tourism catchphrases puts it, we have it all. Going south, a wonderful natural wonder is located an hour and a half's drive from Davao City's crowded downtown region and is ideal for a chilly summer retreat. This developing ecotourism destination, known as Bemwa Farm, is located in Barangay Datu Salumay, Marilog District, and has attracted both locals and visitors. In the Marilog District, there are a ton of inland resorts and tourist attractions. The entire district has a summery Baguio City vibe about it. #newyearadventure #tripblazers

Filipino comfort food at its finest! taste: 5/5 ambiance:5/5 price: 4/5 Located at the junction of Bukidnon-Davao or Buda is this quaint filipino restaurant that serves no fuss, direct to the point, simple yet the most flavorful foods. remember the previous trip moments I posted about a joint of restaurants owned by siblings? This is their latest installment! We ordered bulalo (beef soup), sisig (pork ears shredded into small pieces) and gising-gising (a local vegetable dish with spicy cocount syrup, the name of which when translated is 'wake-up'). We did wake up to the flavorful and delectable dishes that were served before us!

Campfire special- this is the best tasting pizza ever for me. It is a cut above the rest as it is not your ordinary pizza filled with meat toppings what not. this pizza has marshmallows on top and has nutella spread as its base. it will surely remind you of smores over bonfire and those lovely nights you have spent camping outdoors. For me, the crisp,freshly baked dough is a perfect canvass for the nutella spread and the graham like crushed powder neautralizes the sweet taste of the mallows. it is not overpoweringly sweet but just the right amount of sweetness that will tickle your taste buds. if you do not have a sweet tooth, worry not because you have a lot of choices to choose from. we tried their four cheese and 12 hour beef, and it taste yummy! their price range wont hurt your pocket too as their pizzas cost under 500! campfire and co is located near the bukidnon-davao junction. amazing trivia, it is one among the 4 resto chains that are owned by siblings! we also tried the other restos in their joint, but that will be for another post!
