If you have a passion for colors, the Batu Caves are not to be missed! The rainbow stairs here are far more attractive to people than the Batu Caves themselves, drawing crowds of tourists every day. Honestly, if you love colors, the Batu Caves are undoubtedly a must-visit! After all, these caves are located on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, and most of the existing guides simply direct you to take a taxi there. I also spent 17 Malaysian Ringgit to get there by Grab taxi. However, when I was ready to take a taxi back, I unexpectedly discovered that there is an LRT train station here. You can easily commute by taking the KTM Seremban line light rail train (line 1 on the rail map), which is not only affordable but also avoids the hassle of traffic jams in the city. Here is the specific travel plan for everyone: 🚆 At the departure hall of KL Sentral station, buy a ticket at the KTM Komuter area through the self-service machine, or at the ticket window, with Batu Caves (Batu Caves) as the destination, which costs 2.6 Malaysian Ringgit. 🚞 After buying the ticket, scan the QR code on the ticket to enter the station, then follow the signs to platform 5 to wait for the train. This platform is dedicated to going to Batu Caves. 🛤 Take the train for 8 stops and arrive at the terminal station Batu Caves. After exiting the station, just follow the crowd, and you will reach the entrance about 300 meters away. ❤️ Warm tips: Seats on the LRT are not assigned, so feel free to sit anywhere. Although there are quite a few Michelin-starred restaurants in Penang, I still recommend saving some room in your stomach for the night market snacks! Malacca: Also a world heritage site, Malacca is a bit more colorful. After visiting the Baba-Nyonya Heritage Museum, I finally understood the origins of the Peranakans and learned more about the history of Zheng He's voyages to the Western Seas. Ipoh: Malaysia's little Guilin, a small town in the mountains, with lots of delicious food. Saw a Malayan tapir at the Sunway Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh! So cute~ Must Eat Durian: How can you come to Malaysia and not eat durian! The durians in Kuala Lumpur, the dragon fruits in Sepang, and the pomelos in Ipoh are all delicacies not to be missed~ Tips: 1. Malaysia is visa-free, with no time difference from China, and flights to Kuala Lumpur are very convenient. 2. There are super many wild animals, hornbills and monkeys can be seen in the parks. Please do not feed them randomly to protect the ecology.

#malaysia Located just a few minutes walk from the Batu Caves KTM station, Batu Caves is known for the gigantic Lord Murugan statue and the colourful 272 steps up to the cave and temple. There were not a lot of people when we went around 8am in the morning. The weather is also not so hot, making the climb a bit easier. The cave is quite big and you can go up further to access another area of the cave. There are also a lot of monkeys around the bottom of the cave but quite a number of the monkeys climbed up when we were going down from the cave.

The amazing Hindu temple is just outside of the station. Highlights: The statue of the supreme warrior Lord Murugan is very magnificent. Even though it is difficult to reach the top of the temple by climbing all the stairs in hot weather, it is worth it. It is a pleasant feeling to watch Malaysia from there. The monkeys that we see along the way are both cute and scary. There were also some roosters and hens inside the caves. We arrived here at sunrise but due to the starting weekend there were already some people there. I also recommend the other temples and caves that are adjacent to the main temple. #awesomepic #visitmalaysia

Visited #malaysia many times before, but this is my first time coming to visit Batu Caves. Usually only have seen it on social media, and finally I could see this amazing Batu Caves by myself. It is actually a Hindu temple and caves. There's the famous Murugan statue, and as I read on internet, it is the biggest and the highest Murugan temple located outside India. Many people went here too, and it will be super packed with visitors on weekend (I came here on Saturday). No entrance fee to enter this area. The best way to get here is with Kuala Lumpur Komuter (KTM). From KL sentral station, the price is RM 8 for one way, and RM 12 for return. Of course I bought the return card since it was cheaper 😸 Don't forget to visit this place too when you are in Kuala Lumpur ✨ #batucaves #kualalumpur

Beautiful area. You can climb the staircase to look at the temple located inside the gorgeous limestone cave. The climb up is not for the weak. There are many shops selling local peacock feathers and Hindu idols. A couple good vegetarian restaurants too, but I suggest eating outside since they're a little more pricey. Not to mention, there are tons of monkeys and there's a stall as well, selling food that you can feed them with.

Batu Caves is one of the country’s (Malaysia 🇲🇾) biggest tourist attractions and is a place of pilgrimage for Tamil Hindus. They are named for the Sungai Batu (Batu River), which flows nearby, and are located 7 miles (13 km) north of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The Batu Caves are located within a high limestone outcropping. A colossal gold-painted statue of Murugan, made from reinforced concrete and 140 feet (42.7 metres) in height, stands near the base of a flight of 272 steps. As visitors climb the steps, they are frequently accosted by macaques begging aggressively for food. At the top of the steps is the entrance to the largest cave, called Cathedral Cave or Temple Cave. Within it is the largest of several temples on the site. At a lower level on the flight of steps is Dark Cave, which is sometimes closed to visitors. Other caves lie still closer to the base of the steps. Ramayana Cave has an entrance marked with a statue of the monkey god Hanuman, hero of the Indian epic poem Ramayana. The cave itself is lined with dioramas depicting scenes from the epic. The Cave Villa, which includes Art Gallery Cave and Museum Cave, features more paintings and statues.
