The 17-Mile Drive
#timetotravel I'm so thankful that my cousin volunteered to show us around Monterey and took us on the 17-mile drive. I love the views—they were amazing. Lots of trees, sea lions, birds, the beach, and the wind in yout hair.
We also ended up in the golf course of the champions so we took pictures with their standees and read about their successes.

Take the baby, the United States, the first road, the essence of 17 miles, self-driving tour of the US Highway 1, the favorite is this self-driving route, like a scenic area to circle up, when driving in, you have to charge 10 dollars per car, enter the door I will get a map at the beginning. I just started to be cloudy and yin, I cant see any beautiful coastline. I didnt expect to go to the famous pebble beach. The weather became superb, the dark clouds were blown away, and the whole mood was getting better. I dont want to go to see the beach and the sea, Im playing with the stone pile, Im not thinking about it, we stayed here for a while, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the pleasant vacation.

📍17 Mile Drive
Went on a road trip when travelling to California of United States and the views we got from the car ride was totally worth the trip and was really mesmerising and astounding! We went on the 17 mile drive and made a few pit stops on our way for these views! The sea view was just out of the world. The stretch of road hugging the coastlines was really awe inspiring and everyone should experience this at least once in a lifetime! Be sure to prepare cameras for more shots here, it’s just simply amazing and could be postcards right away! The shades of blues were amazing and fascinating! Such a healing and relaxing drive, totally would recommend!

🌉 San Francisco Sights: Nature, Drives & Castles 🌳🚗🏰
Feeling the vibe of San Francisco and its surroundings is like stepping into a diverse landscape of nature, history, and iconic drives. Here’s a snapshot of the top spots I’ve explored:
🏞️ Yosemite National Park, California
Imagine being surrounded by majestic mountains, an abundance of wildlife, and breathtaking waterfalls. Yosemite is a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers everything from hiking to rock climbing. Don't miss the Tunnel View lookout for a sunrise that frames El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and Half Dome in one perfect picture. It's a natural marvel that calls for a full day or two of exploration.
🛣️ California 1, California, USA
Driving along the scenic California 1 is an absolute dream. With the Pacific on one side and rolling hills on the other, this route is dotted with sailboats, gray whales, and picturesque cliffs. From Stanford University to Bixby Bridge, each stop is a postcard-perfect moment. It’s a must for road trip enthusiasts and definitely worth the 2-3 days adventure.
🌊 17 Mile Dr, California, USA
The 17 Mile Drive is the epitome of coastal beauty. With over a dozen viewpoints, each offering a unique perspective of the relentless sea, wildlife, and historical sites, it’s a refreshing treat to the eyes and soul. Remember to pack snacks and take your time to soak in the views of this famous drive that requires half a day to truly appreciate.
🐠 Monterey Bay Aquarium, 886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA
An underwater world awaits at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, a gift from David Packard to his daughter. It's a place where you can touch marine life and learn about the ocean's wonders. The staff are friendly and the exhibits are immersive, making it an ideal place to spend 1-3 hours, especially with kids.
🏰 Hearst Castle, 750 Hearst Castle Rd, San Simeon, CA
Perched atop a hill, Hearst Castle is a testament to opulence and history. Built over 28 years, this sprawling estate blends European and Mediterranean architecture with a vast collection of antiques and artworks. Take a guided tour to experience the grandeur of this 20th-century marvel, which is well worth the 2-3 hours visit.
Each of these attractions holds a special place in my heart, and I hope they’ll steal a piece of yours too. Until next time, keep wandering and wondering!

Spanish bay and 17-mile drive at Pebble beach
Beautiful 5 star experience. The resort is located on a golf course and on the water. Every evening, a bagpiper wanders throughout the property, playing his bagpipes come rain or shine. It makes you feel like you are in Scotland or some other fascinating place. There is a nice outdoor area with several fire pits for everyone to hang out. Even though there is no snow, it feels like skiing. Roy's Restaurant is a personal favorite, as is Sticks. Both have amazing views! There are also two other restaurants, so you won't go hungry. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the lobby in the morning. The promenade that starts from the golf course and along the sea offers truly spectacular views and fresh sea breezes. I believe it is one of the oldest and longest trails in the country.
17-mile drive was the site of a small Chinese fishing village in the late 1800s. You can still see centuries-old cooking smoke deposited in the rocks from the earliest settlements.
It takes about 3 hours to explore the 17-Mile Drive. This is especially true if you stop to take pictures or eat along the way. You can enter 17 Mile Drive through four gates, pay a $10.50 fee and receive a map of the road's iconic landmarks.

✔️ Pebble Beach
📍 Del Monte Forest, Monterey County, California, United States of America
My family and I went on a road trip in California and we embarked on the iconic 17-Mile Drive route, passing by many breathtaking scenic seaside spots! One of them was Pebble Beach, an area known for its natural beauty and stunning golf courses.
The weather was quite cold when we went there so there weren’t many people, but we enjoyed soaking in the views and observing the wildlife. Be sure to snap a photo with the famous Lone Cypress, a tree that has flourished on a rock cliff that protrudes along the Californian coastline!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

17 Mile Drive - California, USA
Nice drive and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. Entry is 12$ per vehicle. Pebble Beach Golf links and resort is worth a visit even if you don't golf. Amazing piece of land on the ocean, shops, restaurants. Played golf at Spyglass, another elite property, and course, also has a restaurant, grill. Probably one of the nicest spots to eat, or have a drink is Spanish Bay. Golf course there also, but they have an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean and beach, and at sunset or so, a bagpiper plays. There is quite a lot of seating - very cool. Tons of deer in the area. #beautifuldestinations #travelusa #california

Chasing Beacons of a Unique Life
Life is fleeting, and dreams ignite our souls. I dream of living a life painted with color and intrigue, unfazed by norms. Goals whispered in the heart often resonate louder than those spoken aloud. To chase these dreams is to carve a path that's truly yours, one that defies conventions. I yearn for the extraordinary – to plunge into ocean depths, wander Parisian streets, and traverse the USA's vast landscapes. Let your heart's desires guide you, for life's canvas is yours to paint. 🎨✨

beach, sun, seagull, breeze, self-driving road No. 1, with endless views and unseen coastline When you set foot on Highway 1, the journey becomes different.

Special recommendation:
-Pigeon Point Lighthouse Lighthouse
It's really a good place to stop and stare, watching the lonely lighthouse, the boundless ocean, blowing the California sea breeze And the gentle sunshine is very pleasant.
-17 Mile Drive 17 miles
This road is really beautiful, remember to navigate from the 17 Mile entrance, or navigation will go outside faster. You need to buy tickets when you go in. A car seems to be less than 10 knives. You can stop and enjoy the scenery when you go in many places. If you have enough time, it is more comfortable to book a hotel for one night.

17Mile
17miles is a well-known coastline in the United States, located between Monterey and Carmel (the town of Carmel), where the land was bought by the wealthy Americans and became a private area. It was once not very famous. After being privately developed, it was found to be carefully packaged and publicized. It is known as the most scenic spot on Highway 1.
Of course, I claim that I don't agree. The last time I came to 17mile, I felt that there was no special feature. This kind of scenery can be seen everywhere on Highway No. 1, let alone spend 17mile.
If there is not enough time on Highway 1, this is a sight that can be abandoned.

While enjoying the open view of the horizon, hiding all kinds of creatures in the sea is the real art of nature. The slow-moving starfish floats in the sea near the beach, and the sun reflects on the surface of the water as a bright white spot.
Bixby Bridge everyone will stop and stay for a while. There are two points for taking pictures, one is the parking lot on the right side of the road, the bridge and the mountain on the left, the sea on the right, and the other is a few minutes you can cross the road to the mountain, you can see the bridge and the sea at the same time. It is a good place to watch the sunset. My favorite location is the location on the left, but if you want to take a clear picture of the sea, you must arrive in the morning.

Compared with San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, the area and scale are much smaller, and the commercial street has no reputation. So big, there are not so many tourists.
