Guaytiew Chom Cafe With Mountainous Views
When you are hiking in the mountains of Ban Jabo, do remember to stop by in one of the cafes. But of course there are 2/3 coffee houses here, and the recommendation is to head to the Guaytiew Chom Cafe or also called the Noodle Soup House Ban Jabo. You won't miss this as it is the Cafe with the more crowded people enjoying a good cup of coffee and a hot bowl of soup while hanging their feet over their seat and enjoying the view of the sunrise and also the unblock view of the mountains here.
You don't need to worry about price here, as its relatively cheap, less than $2 for a bowl of soup and plus with the amazing, what more can you ask for!

Travel to Mae Hong Son and raft at Tham Nam Lod
Tham Nam Lod is located in Tham Lod Subdistrict, 77 kilometers from Mae Hong Son city. It is an important archaeological site under the care of the Pai River Wildlife Sanctuary. The main attraction is 'Tham Nam Lod,' a cave with a stream running through it. Inside the cave, there are beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Since it is not possible to walk inside, visitors must take a raft to see the interior beauty.
The cave is approximately 1 kilometer long and consists of three large chambers: 'Tham Sao Hin Luang,' a spacious cave with prominent stalactites and stalagmites, the most notable being a large limestone pillar formed by the merging of several stalactites and stalagmites, some as high as 20 meters. 'Tham Tukata' features small, doll-like stalactites. The last chamber near the exit is 'Tham Phi Man.'
The cave is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Due to the darkness inside, visitors cannot explore on their own and must hire a guide with a lantern for a fee of 150 baht. The Tham Nam Lod Nature and Wildlife Study Center offers accommodations and facilities. There are guesthouses available, and camping is allowed in designated areas.

The nature trail takes a while to reach. Be cautious of slippery paths if it rains. When you arrive at the cave, it looks like a large hollow where water flows through from one side to the other.
Upon reaching the main entrance of the cave, there is some water but not much. At the cave entrance, there are large fish that you can feed. ☺️

Noodle place overlooking mountains!
Saw this on google maps and decided to detour to try due to the awesome ratings and reviews.
I must say I actually love the food and the view it has while we enjoy our noodles.
Noodles are very simple with 4 different noodle varieties to choose from. Served mainly with meatballs, sliced pork and minced pork. Can purchase pork cackling and fried wanton skin to add crunchiness to the bowl of noodles.
Wait for your number to called out while waiting and finding your own place to sit at. There are limited seats where you can dangle your legs out while enjoying the view.
During lunch, most of the popular seats under shelter are taken up fast. Those in the sun are practically left empty unless you are a brave soul whom loves the heat while having your lunch.
It is definitely a wholesome experience and 1 highlight of my road trip at I will remember. If I were to pass by here in future, will definitely drop by.#วัดท่าวังหิน #maehonson #thingstodo

As its the year end season, its recommended to head here roughly from October period to December to enjoy the cooling weather where you will see many of these very traditional handmade houses made of wood, bamboo and stilts. Scary I know, but these houses as lasted for years and also seems rather sturdy too!
And for outdoor enthusiasts there are a couple of hiking trial here which is recommended to hire a local guide to bring u up to the peak to catch the amazing sunrise over the mountains of Mae Hong Son.
