Originally, Sashisuseso in Japanese is said to be an easy-to-remember abbreviation of the first letters of the five basic seasonings (sugar, salt, vinegar, soy sauce, miso) that make up the taste of Japanese food. I've always visited only in the evening, but today, I came for the first time at lunchtime, so I ordered a sushi lunch set (20,000 won), assorted sushi (27,000 won), and eel rice bowl (20,000 won). The lunch set comes with 8 pieces of sushi, fried food, and udon, and the assorted sushi comes with 12 pieces. Miso soup and marinated cherry tomatoes come out first. Next came the assorted sushi. The amount of rice is small and the tail of the sashimi is long~~~. Even the egg sushi that I don't usually eat is delicious at Sashimi Seso. This is a lunch set. It came with sushi, mini udon, sweet potatoes, onions, and fried shrimp. The lunch set is pretty good for the price. The sushi goes without saying, and the fried food was really crispy and good. This is eel rice bowl. It comes with a rolled egg and pickled peppers as a side dish. The amount of rice is pretty big. There's also a lot of eel. It's a little expensive at 20,000 won for one rice bowl, but you'll be like, "Ah~" when you try it. There are small bones in the eel, but they're so soft that you can't even tell if they're there or not when you chew them. The seasoning is just right.

This branch is housed in a standalone building with three floors, surrounded by lush greenery, which is likely why it’s named 'Disharmony Forest.' The scenery is beautiful, and there are well-maintained walking trails, making it a great spot for photography. The first floor is a piloti-style parking area, and the spacious grounds offer plenty of parking options nearby. On the second floor, there’s a large mirror covering the building’s facade, perfect for taking photos. Inside, the space features wide-open windows and an open kitchen, adding to the visual appeal. The meal started with a salad. Isn’t the color of the salad stunning? It’s a vibrant mix of fresh vegetables, cherry tomatoes, oranges, dried figs, dried cranberries, walnuts, and cheese, topped with a tangy yuzu dressing. The sweet and sour flavors were delightful, and the crunchy texture of the dried fig seeds added a nice touch. Next came the steak. Initially, I considered ordering it medium-rare, but the staff recommended medium due to the texture of the sirloin cut, and it turned out to be a great choice. The steak was served in large slices, with a generous portion size. The garnish included grilled asparagus, eggplant, king oyster mushrooms, and bell peppers, which were incredibly delicious. Who knew vegetables could taste this good? 😭

The blue door catches the eye. Yes, We're OPEN! I like that all menus can be changed to decaf. Mazedos' signature menus are Vanilla Bean Spener, Maze Black Tea Spener, Ein Spener, and Milk Spener. I chose the Vanilla Bean Spener and Iced Americano with the Best mark. I also want to try the Maze Black Tea Spener, but I'll wait until next time. Now it's time to choose dessert! Mazedos has more unique menus than other cafes, so I wanted to try them all. Custard pudding, vanilla banana pudding, ice cream banana pudding, Basque cheesecake, and fudge brownie! But I just finished a full mealㅠㅠ I ordered only one vanilla banana pudding with tears in my eyes. Vanilla bean sppener is similar to the Einsppener you usually get at cafes, but it feels like it has a little more cream on it. Since it’s 100% animal cream, it feels a little firmer and richer. Vanilla banana pudding feels more like a scoop of sweet potato cake than a pudding, but I think it’s like they put bananas instead of sweet potatoes. I don’t really like bananas, but it was pretty good. Recommended! In particular, the long, halved bananas that were used as toppings were topped with sugar and then baked once with a torch to enhance the visuals and flavor.

Mibundang was created based on the owner's vision to provide a quiet and comfortable dining space for everyone. Perhaps because of this, the interior remains relatively quiet even when there are many customers. Mibundang's menu items are available for takeout. There is an environmental fee of 500 KRW, and you can choose between fully-prepared or semi-prepared options. If you plan to eat within 15 minutes of receiving your order, the fully-prepared option is recommended. For those who are farther away or plan to eat later, the semi-prepared option is better. Interestingly, Mibundang uses a system where you order and prepay via a tablet located outside the store before entering. The menu isn't extensive. There are five types of pho: brisket pho, flank pho, brisket and flank pho, brisket and tendon pho, and tendon pho. For side dishes, there are five options: sweet potato spring rolls, scallop spring rolls, shrimp potato rolls, buffalo wings, and wedding shumai. Additionally, there's a sampler platter that includes all of Mibundang's side dishes. We ordered the brisket pho, tendon pho, sampler platter, and scallop spring rolls.

I was in a hurry so I mixed the water noodles before I could even take a picture. The water noodles with floating ice cubes are really refreshing. If you have a child who can't eat spicy food, you can ask them to leave out the radish. Season the noodles to your taste with a round of vinegar and mustard and mix them. It's spicy, but it's okay to do it once in a while. Hehe

Additionally, they adhere to the principle of selling only bread produced on the same day, ensuring freshness and quality. The ordered dishes have arrived. The Jambon-Beurre set includes a French-style baguette filled with Jambon ham and gourmet natural butter, served alongside a truffle mushroom soup.

The view is surprisingly open and beautiful. The wooden interior design pairs well with the lush green plants. Although the menu isn't extensive, I personally prefer restaurants that focus on a few signature dishes rather than offering too many options. Of course, that's just my personal taste. 😊 The first dish served was the Burrata Cheese and Marinated Tomato (16,000 KRW). At first, I thought the purple garnish surrounding the burrata cheese was grapes, but it turned out to be marinated tomatoes with their skins peeled off. Peeling cherry tomatoes is no easy feat, so I was impressed by the effort. The seasoning was a bit strong, but it was still delicious. Next was the Bisque Shrimp Rosé Pasta (17,000 KRW). The combination of shrimp and rosé sauce is always a winning choice. Lastly, the Porcini Cream Gnocchi (17,000 KRW). Gnocchi is a type of Italian pasta shaped like small dumplings. It's somewhat similar to Korea's 'ongshimi,' but while 'ongshimi' emphasizes chewiness, gnocchi focuses on softness. It can be made with various ingredients like potato starch, cheese, pumpkin, or spinach to create diverse flavors.
