2024 Mui Ne Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in December)
Today's Weather
Mostly cloudy 24-29℃
Mui Ne Hotel | 3 days and 2 nights, a very interesting experience
I'll take you to explore the views from Mandala. I spent 3 days and 2 nights there with some interesting experiences. First, upon arriving at the lower lobby, you'll be taken by electric car along a winding path up the hill to the lobby of each area. It feels quite novel at first because the internal map is quite extensive, including 4 main buildings and 1 auxiliary facility such as spa, gym, etc.
What I like most about Mandala is the multitude of pool areas along with a water play area for kids, making it suitable for families with little ones to relax on weekends. There are 2 pool areas on the ground floor, each building has additional pools, one area has a separate pool and mud bath, and there are also rooms with private pools. I swam twice a day in Mandala :)). A short walk in the early morning allows you to admire the beautiful sunrise by the beach. Additionally, almost every room has a beautiful view with a very unique design. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast along with a diverse menu ranging from Vietnamese to European dishes, with set menus starting from 300k per person.
Despite some special features, due to its recent opening, even though the staff is very enthusiastic, they might be a bit overwhelmed due to the large number of guests. Nevertheless, the overall experience at Mandala is extremely enjoyable. If you have the chance, consider planning a trip to Mui Ne and Mandala Chạm Bay!

📍Address: Mui Ne, Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận
💲Price: You can check on various booking apps depending on the time, averaging around 900k VND per person.
Fairy Tale Town Dalat and Mui Ne
Da Lat to Mui Ne, only 4 hours by bus
🏜 Mui Ne (half desert, half sea)
I recommend chartering a car for a half-day tour. We rented a car from a local tour group for 580,000 VND. The driver was very nice and even took photos for us for free. Highly recommended.
🏜 White Dunes: A place to see the sunrise, about 30 minutes drive from the city center. The dunes are vast with few people, definitely a holy land for photography! You can spend 60,000 VND on a sandbike because it takes a long time to climb the White Dunes, and you can experience the excitement of sandbiking.
🏜 Red Dunes: Half desert, half sea, a place to see the sunset, very close to the city center. You can play sand sliding here, which is basically renting a mat and sliding as many times as you want, 3,000 VND/1 mat. It's a good idea for everyone to rent one and play together.
(If you can wake up early, I suggest chartering a car to the White Dunes to see the sunrise in the morning and go to the Red Dunes for sunset on your own in the evening)
🏞 Fairy Stream: It's a river, and you walk across it barefoot. Remember to turn back when the water reaches knee level! Because walking along the stream won't get you back to where you started, and the water there is dirty with lots of garbage. I even stepped on a thorny branch, and my feet were bleeding!
🎣 Fishing Village: Very dirty and ugly, not recommended to visit, nothing interesting.
Recommend a seaside cafe where you can enjoy drip coffee and the sea breeze for a leisurely afternoon tea - TRUNG NGUYEN (168 Huynh Thuc Khang).
🏘 Fairy Tale Town - Da Lat
Looking down from a height, many colorful houses are very distinctive. Walking into every alley will bring you different surprises. Da Lat is 1500 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 17 degrees, so remember to bring a jacket and long pants.
🏚 Crazy House: Ticket 5,000 VND. This is a hotel designed by the daughter of the former Vietnamese president. Because of its exaggerated and peculiar appearance, it has become a scenic spot. Highly recommended to experience it in person because it looks much better on the spot than in photos, and you can see the colorful houses. There are many people here, and the road is narrow, only enough for one person to pass through, so don't take too long for photos, or others will be waiting behind you.
💒 Domaine de Marie Convent: Pink girlish heart explosion. Any casual shot here becomes a travel masterpiece.
🛤 Da Lat Railway Station: Ticket 5,000 VND, known as the most beautiful railway station in Vietnam. Personally, I don't think it has too many distinctive features.
⛲️ Spring Fragrance Lake: Many horse carriages by the lake, very European.
💕 Recommended a super delicious restaurant, Goc Ha Thanh restaurant (53 Truong Cong Dinh), Vietnamese hotpot and clam soup, super awesome! This restaurant is even featured in Lonely Planet~
MUI NE FISHING VILLAGE
Muine fishing village at the North end of mui ne bay is about 7km North of mui ne Town. .Its just a public spot with benches and some local sell their catch of the day. There are so many bowl boat in this fishing village. Water not very clean and only we shed up dirty sea creatures on shore. Very picturesque scenery of the fishing village and the special bowl shaped boat. Just a place to take same photo. #vietnam #muine #mytripvlog
Vietnam Mui Ne Desert Sunrise Tour
《Vietnam Mui Ne Desert Sunrise Tour》
Mui Ne is called the Hawaii of Vietnam :) The desert (sand dune, to be exact) tour is Mui Ne's representative travel course. There are sunrise and sunset tours for the desert tour. Watching the sun rise over the wide sand field and watching the sun set are so romantic!
I went on the sunrise tour and it was a whole new world! It was a new experience :) The purple, orange sky was so beautiful that I couldn't describe it. Vietnam is a great overseas travel destination to visit in the winter😉

A Fairytale Adventure?
Thanks to a pretty dramatic landscape featuring soft colored canyon of dunes that eminate orange, pink and white colors! It's a pretty unique place to visit, that's for sure, and was one of the highlights of a morning tour we joined whiile staying in Mui Ne. This unique geological formation features a little creek, with water that only comes up to your ankles, so you can walk through the majority of it without ever getting your clothes wet!
Entry Price: Free of Charge (but we joined a tour...)
Time Needed: Maybe around 1-2 hours. It took us about an hour to reach the end of the stream
If you feel hungry along the way, we saw that some locals had set up a number of food stalls where you can pick up fresh fruit and other snacks! Plus there are even bars and restaurants more upstream the further you go - surprisingly!
Find it: Huynh Thuc Khang, Ham Tien, Phan Thiet - Mui Ne

Michaela (@uncoveringcities) Colourful Fishing Boats and Fresh Seafood
While travelling from north to south in Vietnam, we spent a few days in Mui Ne where we embarked on a sunrise tour of the red and white sand dunes. One highlight of this tour was visiting Mui Ne Harbour. While the smell was pretty fishy...and the pollution wasn't great...it was still interesting to become immersed in the local culture, enjoy fresh seafood and meet some friendly people!
It's a great place to come for photos too, as on a day with good weather, it can be super picturesque thanks to the hundreds of colorful fishing boats floating on the water.

Michaela (@uncoveringcities) Red and White Sand Dunes of Mui Ne
At the time, we were advised that the best time to visit the White Sand Dunes of Mui Ne would be in the morning, right as the sun is about to rise to really see the sand glisten. Travel arrangements were a little worrying, admittedly. We were crammed in the boot of a jeep along with 5 other tourists who looked just as perplexed as we felt about the whole arrangement. It was cramped, it was cold, it was dark, and it certainly didn't feel like the safest way to be travelling. The drive to the dunes took around 30-40 minutes from our hotel, and as soon as we arrived we couldn't wait to hop out of that vehicle and get walking.
Admittedly, these were not as impressive as the White Sand Dunes. Though once again the sand was incredibly soft and of a beautiful burnt orange colour, the views and size of area were not of the same magnitude as the first. Here, you'll have the option to rent-a-slide and skid down the dunes for an Instagram-worthy Boomerang shot.

Michaela (@uncoveringcities) Mui Ne tour, South Vietnam charm ✨
Hello everyone ✨☀️
Today, Gammy will take everyone to travel to Vietnam. This trip, we will go to the southern part of Vietnam. The destination is the desert city "Mui Ne", Mui Ne or Mui Ne.
This time, there are not only deserts to visit here. Mui Ne also has beautiful seas. The places that Gammy has been to are as follows. We chose to rent a JEEP for a day trip.
- White sand dune
- Red sand dune
- Fishing village
- Fairy stream
In the evening, we ate seafood near our accommodation. It was not expensive but the taste was not as good as back home. The impressive thing is that we got to take pictures as we wished. There were beautiful pictures. The driver also volunteered to take pictures for us. He was very kind.
Overall, I was impressed. It was beautiful but a bit hot.

Beach Paradise Mui Ne
If you’re looking for an off the beaten path kind of beach vacation, look no further than Vietnam’s Mui Ne!
Surrounded by beautiful beaches, Mui Ne is the kind of place where you can enjoy the waves by surfing, stand up paddling, wind surfing and more. Of course you can also just laze about on the beach drinking from coconuts sold by locals like I did 🌴🥥
In addition to the lovely beaches, you can also check out the fairy stream, a cool walking path through the dunes that leads to mini waterfall 🏞

Chillax on the beach
In our short trip to vietnam, we get to go this beach beach 🏖️ resort place at Mũi Né in vietnam. We didn't plan much, so we just went straight for some nice beach view restaurant seated outside ordering some local cuisine. But in general, the main activities that people love to do here is surfing 🏄as there is always constant steady wind; basically all sort of water sport activities like kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing ⛵️ too. It should be quite away from the airport, so better take a taxi or other there should be some public transport. Sunsets are beautiful here, it's totally worth to spend your evening in here. #couplestrip #vietnamtravel

Great Relaxation Spot in Vietnam
Mui Né isn’t one of Vietnam’s most famous cities, but it should be! This city is a bit of a surfer’s paradise as it’s surrounded by beaches with the perfect conditions for catching waves.
Outside of surfing and catching rays on the beach, you can also visit a local fishing village and the Fairy Stream for something a little different 🙂
#leaveyourmark#urbanexplorer
As a beach town along the South China Sea in Southeast, Mui Ne, Vietnam, makes for a great little trip away from the cities. It doesn’t matter whether you’re travelling through Vietnam from North to South or simply looking for a long weekend destination that differs from resort trips of Thailand or Bali. Mui Ne offers just enough in terms of sightseeing and activities to keep you occupied for those few days away from home.
🏝 Sunbathe on the Beach
🏝 Watch the sun rise at the White Sand Dunes
🏝 Feel the cool water of the Fairy Stream on your toes

Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Nearby Mui Ne Tour!
I had a wonderful trip to Vietnam! This time, I visited Ho Chi Minh City!
While searching for must-do tours in Ho Chi Minh, I found a tour that I highly recommend: the Ho Chi Minh Mui Ne Tour! 👍👍
Mui Ne is a place near Ho Chi Minh City that I absolutely loved! ❣️❣️
Let me introduce you to the must-visit spots on the Ho Chi Minh Mui Ne sunrise tour! 👍
1️⃣ First is the famous White Sand Dunes in Vietnam! Watching the sunrise here turns the entire sand into a red hue, creating a breathtaking view. I highly recommend experiencing this mesmerizing moment at least once.
2️⃣ Second is the dragon fruit farm, which you reach after stopping at various photo spots. I really loved the dragon fruit farm! It has numerous photo spots, making it more interesting than just a regular dragon fruit farm.
3️⃣ Third is the Red Sand Dunes! The sand here is truly red. It was my first time seeing such red sand, and it was more humid and beautiful than I expected. The coconut here was also incredibly delicious.
4️⃣ Fourth is the Fishing Village and Fairy Stream! The Fishing Village is optional, and we decided to skip it. After that, we visited Fairy Stream, known as the Grand Canyon of Vietnam. You have to take off your shoes and walk along the stream, which felt great on the feet and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout the walk.
How to enjoy the dawn of Mui Ne that no one can see🇻🇳
🏡 Mui Ne Jeep Tour
(White, Red Sand Dune-Fish Village-Fairy Spring)
💰Price: Around 40,000 won per person
If someone asks me where my life travel destination is,
I would choose Mui Ne without hesitation 💓
It's close to Ho Chi Minh City, so it's easy to get around, and you can see the desert and the sea at once, which are usually hard to see on a day tour🫧
Jeep tours are a must in Mui Ne 🚙
Here's a tip!
✔️ There are drivers who take good pictures 🩷 There are designated photo spots, so check out the blog reviews carefully and choose a driver who takes the best pictures!
✔️ Make sure to bring wet wipes ☺️ The wind blows a lot, so sand gets all over your body, so wet wipes are a must in those times!
✔️ If you wear brightly colored clothes, the pictures come out really pretty!
✔️ ATV is not an option, it's a must! Even I, who can't ride rides, had so much fun 💗
Last super special tip ❗️
✔️ When booking a Mui Ne jeep tour, ask if you can leave about 30 minutes early!
We left for the desert first at 4 AM, 30 minutes earlier than the usual tour start time of 4:30 AM. 🍀
The desert is still calm because the sun hasn't risen yet, and the sky is filled with stars ✨️
I think I'll never forget the moment I sat in the desert with my group and watched the sun rise 🥺💓

What a Nice place to visit - Vietnam, MuiNe
The Happy Ride Glamping
The Happy Ride Glamping is a recommended spot for anyone visiting Muine. It serves as both a café and accommodation. The facilities are fully equipped, and the high-quality service will make you feel at home. Enjoy a solo trip and a peaceful stay. If you don't plan to stay, you can still visit to take photos. There is an entrance fee, but it can be exchanged for one drink. The atmosphere inside is spacious, airy, and comfortable, with plenty of photo spots.
Lost in the beauty of Vietnam
If you could only use one word to describe Vietnam, what would it be?
Quoted by Diana Ambarsari - “Every journey is personal. Every journey is spiritual. You can't compare them, can't replace, can't repeat. You can bring back the memories but they only bring tears to your eyes.”

Mui Ne desert tour, one of the hottest courses in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam!
The beautiful scenery is great for taking photos of your life.
This tour, which takes you to the desert by jeep, is a must-see for many tourists because it is a scenery that cannot be seen in Korea.
You will see both red sand dunes and white sand dunes, and both are so beautiful. Mui Ne beach in the middle is also so beautiful, so I highly recommend you visit it. 🐫

The best in Vietnam travel is Mui Ne Jeep Tour
We headed to the desert to see the sunrise from dawn
The tour schedule was a bit long, so I thought it would be a long journey, but wow, the tour was really satisfying thanks to the driver's photography skills
To be honest, since Koreans are good at taking pictures, I went on the Jeep tour without expecting much from the local driver's photography skills
..!!!
In fact, I booked it without even knowing that they would take pictures
But they took so many great pictures with their phones!!
If you go to Ho Chi Minh, I really recommend the Mui Ne Jeep Tour👍👍
Half-Day Tour Recommendation in Mui Ne, Vietnam
Mui Ne in Vietnam is home to popular attractions like the Fairy Stream, White Sand Dunes, and Red Sand Dunes. These spots can be visited within a morning. However, it's recommended to start early as some routes and activities can be time-consuming.
Suggested Itinerary:
Early Morning: White Sand Dunes
Start your day early, around 5 AM, to visit the White Sand Dunes. You can rent an ATV or take a jeep ride, which is perfect for catching the beautiful sunrise.
8:00 AM: Red Sand Dunes
Next, head to the Red Sand Dunes, which are about a 20-minute drive from the city center. Although smaller than the White Sand Dunes, the sand here is a striking orange-red color.
10:00 AM: Fairy Stream
This shallow stream is easy to walk along and perfect for a relaxing stroll. You can take off your shoes and walk barefoot in the water while enjoying the unique red sandstone landscape. The route is simple and takes about 30-45 minutes to complete, offering very distinctive scenery.
Accommodation in Mui Ne where you can experience both jungle and beach
Vietnam is a great destination for a summer vacation!
I enjoyed a staycation at Bamboo Village in Mui Ne, which is somewhere between Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang😀
The unforgettable feeling from that time,,
Most accommodations in Mui Ne are located in front of the sea and have private beaches.
Bamboo Village offers both the beach and a resort that feels like a jungle, allowing you to experience both🧡✨

Vietnam Mui Ne Jeep Tour: Mesmerizing Sunrise
Mui Ne offers vast sand dunes and beautiful deserts to enjoy.
There are sunrise and sunset tours, and I chose the sunrise tour!
It's hard to wake up in the morning, but I heard the sunset tour is too hot during the day, so I booked the sunrise tour.
Each course comes with a guide driver who takes you around and even takes photos for you :)
It was the most cost-effective tour I've ever had 😎

Located about a 3-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, the quiet village of Mũi Né is renowned for its beautiful desert tours that allow visitors to revel in the wonders of nature. As the setting sun illuminates the red sand hills, it creates an astonishing landscape where the earth and sky seem to be ablaze. Just bring sneakers that can handle sand and a camera, and you'll be well-equipped to capture the beauty of the Red Sand Dune.
🎯 Fairy Stream: A Hidden Gem in the Forest
Another must-see spot on the Mũi Né desert tour is Fairy Stream. True to its name, this place boasts a fairy-tale-like landscape. Walking barefoot along the cool water for about 30 minutes into the depths, you'll encounter a breathtaking natural artwork where red sand and white limestone blend together. The shallow water flowing beneath your feet and the lush trees around create an otherworldly atmosphere.

Throughout the tour, don't miss the opportunity to take stunning photos in the local village and by the beach in Mũi Né. The beautiful scenes of everyday life and local fishing culture against the backdrop of the blue sea and serene beach will add special memories to your Mũi Né trip.
🎯 Savoring Local Seafood
After the desert tour, enjoy fresh and delicious Vietnamese dishes at seafood restaurants near Mũi Né. Known for its fresh seafood, the local restaurants offer a variety of seafood dishes at affordable prices. The seafood, enjoyed with flavorful sauces, provides another delight after the tour.
The Mũi Né desert tour is one of the perfect travel courses where you can experience both the wonders of nature and the unique cultural experiences of Vietnam. A day spent in Mũi Né will create special moments away from everyday life.
Mui Ne's best group accommodation Oceanic Villa 💙💙
#JulyTravelSupportEvent #MuiNe #MuiNeTravel #MuiNeAccommodation #OceanicVilla
The most worrying part while planning a group trip to Mui Ne with 6 friends was the accommodation! I wanted to go to a pool villa, but most of them have a small maximum number of people, so I was worried and found Oceanic Villa! It has 3 rooms and 3 large beds, so 6 people could stay very comfortably! Above all, the view is really pretty because it is right in front of the large pool and the ocean. This place is heaven. 💙💙 Breakfast is prepared directly at the accommodation, and you can choose from a variety of menus! It was so convenient not to have to go there to eat breakfast. After we finished eating, they even cleaned up for us ㅠㅠ All the staff members were so kind💙 Since it is an eco-friendly accommodation, there may be flowers, leaves, bugs, etc. floating in the pool, but they would pick them up whenever they found them and give us towels. They were so kindㅠㅠ Always smiling ㅎㅎ And on the last day, I foolishly left my passport, but they remembered the company written on the pickup truck I called and called the pickup truck company directly to find my passportㅜㅜ It was such a touching accommodation because they were so kind and took such great care of every little thing💙 I recommend this as the best accommodation when going to Mui Ne with a group💙
Mui Ne: Vietnam's Coastal Paradise of Sand Dunes and Serenity
Mui Ne, a hidden gem along Vietnam's southeastern coast, is a captivating blend of natural wonders and tranquil retreats that beckon travelers seeking sun, sand, and relaxation.
The highlight of Mui Ne is undoubtedly its stunning sand dunes. The Red Sand Dunes, with their fiery hue illuminated by the sun, offer a surreal landscape perfect for sandboarding or simply admiring the natural beauty. Nearby, the White Sand Dunes shimmer in the sunlight, creating a serene backdrop against the blue waters of the South China Sea.
Beyond its sand dunes, Mui Ne is renowned for its pristine beaches. Long stretches of soft, golden sand invite visitors to sunbathe, swim, or indulge in water sports like kiteboarding and windsurfing, thanks to the area's consistent breezes.
For those seeking cultural experiences, Mui Ne offers a glimpse into local life with its bustling fishing villages. Witness fishermen bringing in their daily catch or explore the vibrant fishing harbor where colorful boats bob on the water against a backdrop of traditional Vietnamese houses.
Mui Ne's culinary scene is another delight, with numerous beachfront restaurants serving up fresh seafood and local specialties. Don't miss the opportunity to savor dishes like grilled squid, fish hotpot, and banh xeo (Vietnamese pancakes) while enjoying ocean views.
Whether you're seeking adventure on the sand dunes, relaxation on the beach, or a taste of authentic Vietnamese coastal life, Mui Ne promises an unforgettable experience. Its natural beauty, combined with warm hospitality and delicious cuisine, makes it a must-visit destination for travelers exploring Vietnam's diverse coastal offerings.
