Boracay, a dazzling gem of the Philippines, is located in the Aklan province in central Philippines. This narrow island, shaped like a dumbbell, is renowned for its White Beach, one of the world's top ten beaches. The 4-kilometer-long beach with powdery sand and crystal-clear waters is hailed as a 'paradise on earth.' Additionally, the island boasts spectacular sunset sails, the mysterious Puka Shell Beach, thrilling dive spots like Crocodile Island and Crystal Cove, each a perfect blend of nature and romance.
📍Location:

🛌Accommodation Information:
The island offers a wide range of accommodations, from luxurious resorts to budget-friendly hostels. Recommended are the 'Shangri-La's Boracay Resort and Spa' for its infinity pool and private beach tranquility, or the 'Astoria Boracay' for a cost-effective comfortable stay. Book in advance to enjoy sea view rooms with morning light and starry nights.
💡Travel Tips:
- Best travel time: November to May, avoiding the rainy season for the best weather.
- Ensure adequate sun protection with high SPF sunscreen, sun hats, and sunglasses.
- Try local delicacies such as Filipino barbecue and halo-halo dessert to experience authentic flavors.
- Protect the environment by not leaving trash on the beach or in the sea.

Listen up! For summer water fun, head to Boracay Island~
Traveling to Boracay Island isn't just about lying flat; you can't miss out on the various exciting water activities available. The following water activities are especially popular locally, so hurry up and plan them!
🩵 Sunset Sailing
The star attraction of Boracay Island, just make an advance reservation, and wait in line at the travel agency to board the boat. The basic package costs less than 100, which is quite cheap.
Of course, whether you can see the sunset depends on the weather that day. I arranged it on my first day of arrival, not only did I see the sunset but also the afterglow, it was simply too perfect!
🩵 Stand Up Paddleboarding
A water activity that has been 🔥 overseas for a long time, many locals and Caucasians play it there. Paddleboards can be rented locally. Personally, I think this is a project that tests your sense of balance.
If you want to try, you can go to White Beach, where the 🌊 waves are not very big, relatively safer.
🩵 Kite Surfing
A cool water activity that's off the charts, recommended for friends with surfing experience to try. The peak season for surfing is from November to March each year.
It's okay if you don't know how to play, there are also kite surfing courses available locally, with a duration of about 3 days. If you are staying for a longer period or have plenty of time, you can participate.
🩵 Diving
There are many diving spots on Boracay Island, a paradise for diving enthusiasts. If you want to learn to dive, you can also come here, there are many Chinese-speaking locals, so you can find Chinese diving courses, making communication barrier-free.
Of course, friends who are not good at swimming can also try snorkeling, where you can see a lot of fish.
In addition, there are other popular activities like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boating available locally! Friends who love water activities should not miss out.

With few people and a romantic atmosphere, you must visit here in the Philippines!!!
🌊 Stepping onto Boracay Island for the first time is like entering the back garden of paradise. The water here is so clear that you can see the bottom, and the sand is so fine it feels like flour, making every step feel like walking on clouds.
🌞 In the morning, awakened by the first ray of sunlight, stepping out of the hotel, you can feel the gentle caress of the sea breeze on your cheeks. Strolling along the beach, watching the sun rise slowly from the horizon, the sparkling waves and golden light interweave, creating a scene as beautiful as a painting.
🍽️ For lunch, why not try some local specialties? Fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and special sauces make every bite an ultimate temptation for the taste buds. And those colorful drinks bring a touch of coolness in the hot summer days.
🏄♂️ In the afternoon, you can choose to participate in water sports, such as surfing, snorkeling, banana boating... Under the guidance of professional instructors, release your passion and vitality. Or, just find a quiet corner, lie on a beach chair, listen to the sound of the waves, watch the clouds in the sky, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea time.
🌟 As night falls, another charm of Boracay Island is revealed. Beach bonfires, street performers, night market snacks... Each place is filled with exotic atmosphere and joyful vibes.
💫 On my last night on Boracay Island, I chose to have dinner at a seaside restaurant. While tasting delicious food, I admired the sea under the starry sky, feeling deeply moved. This beautiful land has not only given me endless surprises and pleasure but also made me understand the meaning and value of life. It taught me that life is not just about survival, but also about experiencing and feeling the beauty of this world.

Vacationing in the Philippines!! Just a light holiday
Vacationing in the Philippines!! Just a light holiday⛱️
I didn't have high expectations for the trip to Boracay, as the islands in Southeast Asia are quite similar, and since there were no new major hotels on Boracay, I had to choose Shangri-La, thinking it would be a peaceful vacation with the family.
The result was completely beyond my expectations. The facilities show their age, but Shangri-La maintains them very well, and the service, restaurants, and spa are all quite good (though the Mediterranean restaurant was a bit lacking).
Everyone must take good care of their sun protection! Got a serious sunburn on my shoulders and thighs🥺
If you want the best experience, I suggest avoiding the seaweed season from March to May.

My goodness, this is the most impressive island ceiling I've seen this year
This is the most memorable island among them
The sea water is as colorful as glass
It really amazed me
And the pristine white sand beaches🏝
A few things worth checking out on Boracay Island
Go see Willy's Rock
A landmark on White Beach, a rock close to the beach that you can walk up to when the tide is low in the afternoon
Feel the powdery sand of White Beach, watch the beach sailboats and sunset🌇
Take a crab boat out to sea for snorkeling
Do a hot stone spa, which is a feature of Boracay Island, to relax the exhaustion of the journey
For the more adventurous, try surfing and paragliding
About the food
There is a variety of delicious food on the island, Filipino cuisine might be a bit overwhelming, you can go to Red Crab Pasta House for crab and Japanese cuisine, barbecue
Some things to note
Apply sunscreen well, the sun is strong
It's quite hot during the day, you can choose indoor activities, go to the beach in the morning and evening, prepare more cash, as it's mostly cash transactions on the island
Well, that's about it

It was beautiful! It’s something you don’t see by the usual beaches of Boracay. They’re developing the area and I see potential. It is near the private beach of Belmont Hotel and they also have stalls there that sells souvenirs, food, and drinks. Plus they also have lounges by the beach where you can sit, or lay down and relax.
Nice view for picture taking. I would recommend going on the afternoon since photos will be against the light if you visit here in the morning.

Moksha Cafe
It was a pleasure to have brunch at the quieter side of the island and this place had the perfect brekky menu. They have the Filipino silogs as well as international brunch meals, all reasonably priced. I ordered eggs bene that came with a fresh side salad. You can choose to have it with ham or bacon. The hollandaise was thicker than usual, but it was tasty nonetheless. I also ordered grilled cheese with potato chips. I must say that their bread here was very fluffy and buttery (tasted like milk bread or pancake). The iced cafe americano was good and not acidic. Be smitten by their resident dogs, Toffee and Cookie. The staff were very hospitable and attentive.

Willy's Rock
The iconic Willy’s Rock in Boracay actually has a grotto of the Mother Mary at the front part of this rock formation and is just a few steps away from the powdery soft beach. You can actually climb up to it as stairs have been made to access the grotto. Yes, you will get wet as you have to wade throughout the clear water, and white sand. Do not worry, the water is not deep. It is also a popular landmark of beautiful Boracay, so do take pictures and of course swim! Enjoy the sea, the sand, the sun!

Beautiful place for a perfect hike
#boracaytrip
Hiked up the hill to explore and found this wetland. It is a beautiful conservation park with varietes of unique flora and fauna which can be found only in the Philippines.
While exploring this area have to take care as the wild grass became long although the pathway is still visible but be careful with random insects and bugs.
Highly recommend for great views of the island forests. A different experience beyond the beaches

Crystal Cove Island.
Crystal Cove Island is a tropical and paradisiac island with a with laid-back vibe in Boracay.
Due to its location, you need a boat ride from Boracay to get there.
The whole visit, including walking around and taking pictures should last between 1 to 2 hours. You can also stay longer if you are planning to do some sunbathing and snorkleing.
There are two small caves to explore you get to get some splashes and it is relaxing to hear the sound of the waves approaching to the caves.
The island have great view especially for picture taking. In the island there are some picnic spots in case you bring your own food which I recommend as there are no restaurants or stores there.

It is not a museum in the traditional sense but it is very educational and fun! The purpose of the tour is to teach guests about the traditional lifestyle of the Philippines (before electricity and running water). You are outside the entire time so wear outdoor that you don’t mind getting dirty. The tour is very hands on with lots of doing and tasting and includes a ride on the water buffalo.

is not in the central area, but it is very beautiful, there is a free shuttle to each car In the area, there is a golf course in the resort, a private beach, many restaurants, and the most recommended are two infinity pools with sea views. If you just want to make a hotel, it is very romantic. Suitable for lazy elderly children and children to help you to eat, drink and play.
Rissing Boracay Beach Resort
This hotel is located on the beach of Bulabo, the sea is out, the beach is very windy, suitable for kite surfing, the room is modern and holiday thatched cottage The mixed style, the overall quiet is very few tourists, very close to Dmall
white beach
the most beautiful beaches on Boracay, the sandy beach is clean and clean. In the morning, the sea is blue and blue like a gem. In the afternoon, the water is clear and the sand is young, and the coconut trees are in the evening. The evening sunset is like a feast full of the beach. It is recommended to go to the beach through D Mall and then walk along the beach. The beach is divided into three sections: s1 s2 s3.
s1 is quieter is the private beach of the luxury hotel;
s2 people are mostly the restaurant cafe small shop area, the beach is also very beautiful, many foreigners are sunbathing here, children are piled up sand dunes here;
s3 For a comfortable hotel and backpacker hotel
Debra Beach
Bulabo Beach is just across the white sand beach, a good place to watch the sunrise. The sandy beach is thicker, and the sea breeze makes it a holy place for kite surfing. There are also many economical and comfortable surfing hotels along the beach. Friends who want to learn kite surfing are recommended here, and beach resorts are not recommended.
married beach, if white beach is flour beach, then Puka beach is shell beach, beach has many stones and broken shells, although Puka is still beautiful, There are relatively few tourists, clear waters, and palm trees that spin in the wind, where you can spend a quiet afternoon and then watch a sunset on the beach.

Drunk romantic, sail to the sea to watch the sunset
two dive and dissolve, recall the content a rich day. At sunset, the best reward is to take a sail to the sea. This is a classic traditional project on the Philippine waters and my most recommended romantic experience.
Maybe you have seen countless sunsets burning clouds by the sea, but riding the sails, riding the wind all the way, rushing to the sun, watching her gently hide themselves under the sea level - when the heat becomes soft, Put the splendour on the body and return it with warmth, you will understand that this is a beautiful experience.
People who are satisfied with the voyage can continue to enjoy the shore. The most beautiful sunset in Long Beach, as the saying goes: Long Beach, which has no burning clouds, is a rogue. It is the correct way to open Long Beach in half an hour. , watch the subtle changes in the red, purple and purple tone of the sea.

Xu is still in the heart of the feeling of chasing stars, in the afternoon hit a tutu car, went to Liang Jingru to hold the wedding of Puka Beach and WestCove West Bay Hotel. Puka Beach is located on the northern coast, far from the white sand beach, and has a taxi of around 200 pesos. However, there are few beach people, and the shell coral stone that is washed by the waves to the shore is also very beautiful. It is a rare place to play. The beauty of the
West Bay Hotel has been spread on the Internet very early, and West Cove on this mountainside has to buy tickets first, and can't find the ticket office to ask the hotel staff. Tickets are 500P, and each will be given a bracelet and a list that can be handed over to the staff at the viewing table to deduct the meal. Enjoy the sunset here and have a romantic feeling unlike the beach.

lovely atmosphere
I like these kinds of places with a personal touch. Totally bananas cafe is a small cafe that has a homely atmosphere. I got the iced Americano and my partner got the hot one. So far, it's been the best coffee on the island.
They serve drinks and desserts highlighting the banana fruit. I ordered San Sebastián cheesecake. Not sure if it had bananas, but I tasted a hint of it. I also ordered iced cafe mocha, which was good and well presented. The staff were friendly.

Second trip to the Philippines | The stunning sunset in Boracay.
The world's most beautiful sunset sail, a sight to behold every time. I never get tired of watching the sunset over the sea in Boracay.
Features🌅:
The sailboat is not motorized and relies solely on wind power to sail the sea. The colors change constantly along the way, like warm colors spilled over the horizon.
🌄The sunset sail is a unique traditional 🏄♀️activity in 🏝Boracay, Philippines. The unique crab sailboat brings the sunset atmosphere to its peak. The sea and 🌈sky are dyed a gentle orange by the setting sun, and no one can resist the beauty of the sunset. The color of the sea changes with time.
🧚♀️Tips
🕰The activity time is from 17:30 to 18:30, and each trip lasts about 20 minutes.
🏄♀️Although there are many sailboats and trips, there are also many people, so it is necessary to wait in advance. A boat can carry up to 8 people and at least 2 people‼️Don't lose your guide.
📷Be sure to protect your camera when taking pictures. The sea is a bit bumpy. You can also ask the captain for help. They are experienced and can take beautiful pictures.
👗You will wear a life jacket🦺. It is recommended to wear light colors inside, which will look great in photos.
♨️♨️If you can't get on the sailboat, it's also a good choice to take pictures of the sunset on the beach. It's gentle and romantic, and the sunset can be so perfect.

👀Viewing location and time:
At S2, you can experience the magnificent view of the sunset on a sailboat. S1 has the least obstruction and is suitable for viewing the entire sunset. It is recommended to go between 17:00 and 18:30, when the interaction between the sun and the sea is the most beautiful.

#traveldiaries #100WaysOfTravel
Crystal Cove Island Resort is a popular stop-off point for island-hoppers, offering a wide range of activities, such as trekking and cave exploration, sunbathing and snorkelling, pigeon feeding and sea kayaking. The well-preserved natural environment and resort also houses a museum and an aviary as alternatives to the beach. Though the resort's 2 coves are the main draw, the area does offer picturesque views – perfect for picnics and relaxing – as well as caves for the adventurous to explore.
Getting to Crystal Cove Island:
Getting to the island requires a boat ride from either Boracay or Caticlan. As the boats, or bangka , are much less frequent from Caticlan Port, most visitors from Caticlan make the journey to Boracay first, before heading to the island. Boats leave from Cagban and Tambisaan ports regularly, usually as part of island-hopping packages. Shop around for the best deal to suit your needs.
Best time to visit:
Travelers can visit the island and the resort all year round. It is open from 8 AM to 4 PM every day. The best time to go here is between March to early June when the weather is sunny, and there is only a small chance of rain.
However, expect large crowds during these summer months since locals and visitors alike tend to drop by for the summer holidays as well.
If you prefer a cooler atmosphere, visiting from November to February is also a great time to travel here.
