Ljubljana the green river city
Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Easily accessible by bus or car from the airport. The see is the beautiful, small center of the city, with the green river and a hill with the castle in the middle. All of tye good hotels are walking distance in the center. During the day and evening you can enjoy sitting by the river and eating local or other European food. There are no cars allowed in the city center so the walks are very enjoyable. #ljubljana #slovenia #oldtown

Today is my lazy day in Prague, Czech Republic ... I suppose to visit Bohemian Switzerland National Park in Northern Czech today, located 2 hours from Prague ... but it's one of those day you just don't feel it 😅 ...
"Can I make it on time to catch a train?, Do I feel like hiking today?, What if the hiking trails is too hard for me, I don't have a suitable shoes, what if its raining? What if I get lost in the woods alone, urghh this bed is so comfortable... " 🙄 alasan bertengkek-tengkek ... Last2 aku jadi pemanas tilam je la hari ni. 😆
Before I came here, I spent a week in sLOVEnia ... As I said before this one is beautiful ... I should spend more time there ... Well ... there's always next time ... Late spring & summer should be great, when I can enjoy a longer daytime ... Yeah ... As much as I love autumn ... We only get more or less 8 hours of daylight a day ... Pukul 5 ptg tu dah bergelap dah ... I'm not saying it's limited ... But still, if you want to do an outdoor activities you better start super early in the morning. (Ermm no! ... I'm on vacation man ... Waking up late suppose to be part of it 😆)
Tarikan utama di Slovenia sudah tentunya pergunungan Alps & banyak tasik disekitarnya. Ljubljana, Bled, Bohinj & Triglav National Park adalah antara tempat yang aku lawati semasa di sana. Slovenia is a part of European Union, they use Euro as a currency and it has a modern infrastructure which you can use to reach any part of this country. I totally surprised that it seem almost everyone here can speak English fluently and people here are really polite and friendly to visitors, so I got no problem asking for help or directions.
Ljubljana is a small city ... You can pretty much explore it in a day. I like the laid back vibe of this city compared to hustle and bustle and touristy cities of other European countries. Many different nations and cultures have shaped Slovenia throughout the ages and they all have left some characteristic marks to this new independent country. Traveling in Slovenia is definitely cheaper compared to West or Central Europe and Scandinavian Countries. I only spent 10 euro a night for an accommodation, 3-10 euro for a meal and under 10 euro for a bus ride pretty much everywhere in Slovenia.
The highlight of my time here definitely my visit to Lake Bohinj and Triglav National Park. This place will take your breath away for sure! For me Slovenia may be a small country but it undoubtedly such a destination, and it will completely blow your mind once you start to explore it. 😎
PS: S❤️venia ... I'll be back 😘
#stnicholas'Cathedral with its classic twin towers and trademark single, weather-worn green dome, the city’s cathedral encapsulates everything that's #ljubljana. Small and interesting, but not too exciting at first glance, a longer look at its history and finer details reveals its hidden charm and beauty. Built on the site of a much earlier church, the cathedral’s main structure and appearance date from the first half of the 18th century. Inside the Baroque masterpiece is a cavalcade of classic creams and golds, littered with extraordinarily detailed frescoes and possessing that calming feeling that only a great church can bring.

Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia and it is one if the smallest and quietest capital cities all icer around the European Union. However it offers many attractions to the tourists. There is very nice castle on the top of the hill, there are canals passing by the city center and also very nice pubs and cafés around them which are really lovely and lively during the evenings.

We visited Ljubljana in September and found it to be one of the loveliest old towns in Europe. Loved Ljubljana! Beautiful area!
On the first day of the European minority country, Slovenian
, where there was almost no Asian tourist, the capital Ljubljana was raining, but Ljubljana did not want to have a flavor, especially on the Dragon Bridge. The dragon sculpture and the cascading dark clouds in the distance echo the magical atmosphere. I like every corner of this unpopular town. Whether it is the street or the alley is worth exploring~
There is a city surrounded by mountains in the basin, covered with fog all year round. It is Ljubljana, the capital of the Republic of Slovenia and the political and cultural center, located in the upper reaches of the Sava River in the northwest. The famous castle, St. Nicholas Cathedral and the Triple Bridge are the highlights of the city. This literary city is fashionable and lovely, always attracting tourists.
Ljubljana is located between Vienna, Austria and Venice, Italy, a beautiful city full of romance. It is one of the greenest and most livable cities in Europe, with a distinct culture. The cafs and nightlife here give you the feeling of being immersed in the street party atmosphere.
Ljubljana Castle is located at the top of Ljubljana Castle Hill and was used to defend against foreign enemy prisons. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful forest that can cross the forest through a path that extends to the castle. Standing on the sightseeing tower of the castle, you can overlook the panoramic view of Ljubljana. The night view is especially beautiful. Every year, a variety of exhibitions and concerts, summer carnivals and Christmas and New Year fireworks are held in the castle.

Wonderful eat-outs in Ljubljana, Slovenia
#100waysoftravel
Ljubljana, Slovenia in Eastern Europe which is capital and largest city in the country. Tried out tasty trendy and traditional local food during my trip. Start off at trendy Wonderland cafe in the morning for sweet tooth, it is an Instagram spot where the cafe is beautifully decorated with flowers and colorful theme, best for photo taking. It provides delicious meals, where I picked pistachio ice coffee and new york cheesecake.
For lunch, take a walk towards central market are and a traditional restaurant (dumpling house Moji štruklji Slovenije) can be found, which offers yummy homemade Ljubljana dumplings are made of yeast-pastry (štruklji). They offer lots of varieties of štruklji choices to choose from, along I ordered Slovenian homemade sausage and super big cup of organic tea. Their seatings are mostly outdoors, where you can view the bustling of the city.
As dinner, I proceed to good review restaurant named Pasta bar Vito Maccheroni. Everything is homemade from their pasta and special pasta sauce, and price is affordable and delicious, a worthy place to settle decent meal.

the dumplings of Slovenia
It is called the Slovenian dumplings, but honestly it is more like layered and rolled crêpes. It comes in many different flavours so the choice was super hard. Finally I decided on the seasonal pistachio & pumpkin seed one and it was amazing especially for the price of €5.8. It is sweet and creamy, they are generous with filling and the decoration as well but it doesn't feel too much. The service is very kind, not the quickest but it is worth the wait. Don't miss it if you are in Slovenia!#ljubljana
A gateway to Slovenia
#myhiddengems
I was so glad I picked lujubljana as part of one of my trips. It was a refreshing change from the other very touristy destinations that i visited before here. Surprisingly with so much to offer, this city is still not as over crowded or popular as neighbouring countries with an influx of tourists in season. This worked as a blessing for me. It is a walkable, green, enjoyable place that makes the most wonderful city break. Not only that but in just half an hour you can be in the middle of the most beautiful nature.
My food and snacking experiences here were fun too. Besides the easy availability of pizza's and pastas due to the proximity to Italy. I did manage to try several traditional food items. There’s plenty of comfort food with Slovenia’s most famous soups, dishes of potato dumplings, lots of meat and veggie dishes. Service can be slow so come for a leisurely dinner rather than a quick lunch.

The number of castles, churches and the museum was surprisingly good.
