Although there are a few beaches, the 3 main ones are Pattaya Beach, Sunset Beach and Sunrise Beach. The sight of wooden longtail boats lining up would be a familiar scene across these beaches. Do not be confused with the Pattaya Beach at Pattaya city as they have similar names. It is the first beach most of us would step foot onto since the customs is located there. You can spot many seafood restaurants lined up along the coast, close to the entrance of The Walking Street. You could have easily guessed that both Sunset and Sunrise beaches are named based on the beautiful views offered. Do find out from the locals on the locations to take a dip or even the fees required to take you to some of the islands. Resort Review: Idyllic Concept Resort

Idyllic Concept Resort is a beachfront boutique resort that lies on a beautiful tiny island of Koh Lipe, off the Satun province in Thailand. For those who love a blend of minimalist and wood design like me, the room hits the spot. The place was neat and tidy, and I felt comfortable the moment I stepped in. There was even a balcony and lounging area against a full height glass window to relax. Probably the only complain I have would be the intermittent WIFI connection. One of the main reason Idyllic Concept Resort caught my attention would be its location along Sunrise beach. We were fortunate that we were given the room seconds walk away from the beach itself. I had complimentary breakfast buffet at The Cove Bistro the next day. The food selection was decent with a mix of Thai-Western fare. I had a light breakfast of mainly eggs, puff pastries and juice, and even 2 scoops of coconut ice cream to end my meal with. The best part of the breakfast would probably be the awesome view facing the beach! The resort does offer these packages for activities that includes crystal kayaking, fishing day trip, snorkeling trip (inner/outer zone) and more. The beauty of Koh Lipe

Koh Lipe is one of my favourite places in Thailand so far! I've never seen such white sand beaches, such as turquoise water before, not to mention the incredible underwater world that waited for me there. It was absolutely amazing to be able to dive and snorkel on that little island! Koh Lipe is a very beautiful island, Snorkeling is not very good on the island itself, and the currents are strong, but taking a snorkeling excursion is definitely worth it. An incredible experience was ensured! Well, this is the simplest and most comfortable island to visit. Rich underwater world, sharks, turtles, reptiles. #bangkoktrip

How to travel to Koh Lipe. It's the best. ✈️🚗🚤

Departing from Bangkok to Hat Yai takes about 1.30 minutes. Then take a van from Hat Yai Airport to the pier for about 2 hours. From the pier to Koh Lipe for another 2 hours, the officer will take you to stop at Koh Kuru Tao before traveling to the island. It takes about 4-5 hours. The journey is quite long but worth it. Beautiful sandy beach, beautiful island But the way back is the same because I didn't stop as much as I came. You can get there very easily from Langkawi Island or Pak Bara Pier. A speedboat ticket costs about 550 Baht. There are a lot of inexpensive hotels here. You can check it out on trip.com. there are a lot of good restaurants. There are also a lot of good local people who can help you find this or that place. this is a place for relaxation. You just relax here and forget about all the problems. I advise everyone. By the way, there is excellent diving and snorkeling. must visit this place

Paradise

We spent two times Christmas holidays and NYE (2019 and 2021). We liked Koh Lipe very much. The island has spectacular beaches and cristal water. Is small, safe and you don't need a scooter or transport if you like active holidays. We liked very much the Sunrise beach were we spent the morning near 10 Moons resort. The Sunrise is spectacular from the North Point beach near Zodiac See Sun Resort. The North Point beach changes everyday and is my favourite place. To reach the Sunset beach and the hotels in the area you need transport, because there is a small hill and forest. There is a temple on the hill in the forest too. Some hotels on the hill offer transfer to the center (7 eleven and walking street). Pattaya beach is nice in the evening to have a dinner, drink on the beach or just for the sunset. During the day is noisy with the port and many boats. If you need sun and beach during the cold winter, Koh Lipe will offer you. #kohlipe #thailand #paradise

#passionpassport Beautiful island with lots of activities to offer. Every one has to buy national park ticket to get entry. Price is 200 baht for foreigners. But since we went here for the students educational trip it was shouldered by the school all expenses🤙🏻☺️Lot of restaurants on the beach to enjoy. Hillside area is marvellous. Definitely recommend this place for island hoppers. Koh Lipe used to be a tranquil little island before where nobody heard of. There were no ATMs, no motor vehicles and a "walking street" made of seasand and rocks. Now it's filled with motorbikes cars and trucks 🙀 There are dozens of construction sites and you can see trash in the sea. which i guess the locals are trying to get rid off🦾🦾 Not to mention the numerous amounts of bars and restaurants. Back then, there were a few good ones, but now it's all so commercial and really expensive. The island is not big, you could easily spend a week to explore the whole island. There are several beaches around the island. Suggest to stay in different beach,so you could have different experience. Once you get off the pier,there are a lot of restaurants along the beach.If you like lively ambience and easy access of everything.Better to stay near the pier. But for me,the best is to stay a bit far away from pier.It is more quiet. The beaches are nice and clean in general. #passionpassport

THE MALDIVES OF THAILAND

#asiatrip Koh Lipe or Lipe island is a beautifull island in the Andaman sea and part of National marine park which is known for its coral rich water. As it is located very near to Malaysian border, it can be easily access by speedboat transfer from langkawi island. It is about 40km plus distance and normally took 1 hour 30 minute time to reach this paradise island. Speedboat/ferry terminal in langkawi is at telaga terminal which is located in pantai Kok. As for ticket price it cost RM290 for return boat transfer. Be aware that only limited departure available only during peak season in Koh Lipe. As this island is not that big, it is possbile to walk across one end to the other end. So it would be perfect for sunrise and sunset seeker as you can see both in this island. Like other island, it is always recommended to do island hopping to small island nearby in this Tarutao Marine National Park. lots of tour agency available around the main road of lipe island. As for accomodation, a lot of different option ranging from budget hotel to the luxurious beachfront resort. Advance booking is advisable as this island can be pretty crowded during peak season period. #kohlipe
