Lowest point on earth? Dead sea and Jordan!
Jordan! Wow, it was an unforgettable experience, full of ancient history, vibrant culture, and natural beauty. Amman, the capital, perfectly blends old and new. The Roman Theatre, standing in the heart of the city, was a glimpse into Jordan’s rich past, while the Amman Citadel offered sweeping views of the city, with ancient ruins that speak to centuries of history. Walking through the bustling streets, visiting local markets, and interacting with friendly locals gave me a true sense of the city’s character. The modern side of Amman, with its lively cafes, restaurants, and galleries, added to the dynamic atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the Dead Sea, a destination unlike any other. Floating in the Dead Sea’s buoyant waters was an extraordinary experience – the sensation of weightlessness is something you have to feel to believe. The mineral-rich waters and therapeutic mud are renowned for their health benefits, and after covering myself in the famous Dead Sea mud, my skin felt incredibly rejuvenated. The stunning, otherworldly landscape of the Dead Sea, with its sparkling salt formations and the surrounding mountains, created a serene and almost magical atmosphere.
Jordan, with its fascinating history in Amman and the natural marvel of the Dead Sea, offers a perfect blend of cultural exploration and relaxation. From the ancient ruins to the unique experience of floating in the lowest point on earth, this trip was a remarkable journey through one of the Middle East's most captivating destinations. I left with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for Jordan's rich heritage and natural beauty.

Staying in Amman, the capital of Jordan
I stayed in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
It takes about an hour to get to Amman from the border by land from Israel.
I get the impression that all Jordanians are gentlemen, quiet, and extremely hospitable.
They have good manners and are polite.
In addition, prices are much cheaper than in Israel and the food is outstandingly delicious.
You can enjoy touring old ruins, and there are also modern shopping malls, so I think Jordan is a good choice for beginners to Middle Eastern travel.

I finally got a card in the old city of Petra, which is popular in the air! God knows what has happened in order to take this photo! I wore a wedding dress and climbed up the hill with my four feet. When I saw the ancient city at my feet, everything was worth it!
The ancient city of Petra (9 BC - 40 AD) is a historic city in southern Jordan. It is one of the mysterious ancient cities in the desert of southern Jordan and one of Jordan's most prestigious historic sites. On July 8, 2007, he was selected as the new Seven Wonders of the World.
My Trip to Jordan's Dead Sea: Nothing is similar in the Earth!

#holidayseason
In case you visit Jordan, then you must not miss visiting the Dead Sea, the lowest lake on the earth (about 400 meters below the see level). The Dead Sea is considered to be one of the most salty lakes. In addition, the coast of the sea contains rocks and mud, which is rich with healthy minerals.
Transportation from Amman Airport to Dead Sea:
1- By Taxi: It takes about 30 minutes.
2- By Drive: Rent a car from the airport and follow the Google Map.
What to do?
- It is abosulutely required to cover your body with the Dead Sea mud (a perfect detox). The mud is rich with healthy minerals, and this will make the skin feel smooth and fresh.
- Enjoy the floating experience in the Dead Sea with almost no effort.
- Enjoy your time with the breathtaking view of the sunset. It is unforgettable.
Tips:
- Take care of your eyes from the salty sea water.
- The Dead Sea during summer is very hot. So take a lot of water
- Best time for the visit can be in the morning or in the afternoon, i.e., when the temperatures become cooler.
- Do not shave before swimming in the Dead Sea. Water is too salty.
- It is better not to stay in the water for more than 30 minutes!
Local food:
Shish kebabs, Mezze, Fatteh
Accomadation:
There are plenty of high-class hotels in the area.

A day of fun in Amman, Jordan, with a beautiful sunset on Castle Hill
A day of fun in Amman, Jordan, with a beautiful sunset on Castle Hill.
I went to Jordan, a very impressive niche travel destination, and I think half a day is enough for the capital, Amman.
Castle Hill in Amman
Recommended to go at sunset, you can see the beautiful sunset in Jordan, the sky is pink.
Roman open-air theater
You can overlook it from Castle Hill, and there is a square in front of the theater.
Amman Market
Personally, I like to visit local markets when I travel, where I can feel the atmosphere, visit souvenir shops, eat snacks, I bought a sunset sand painting from Jordan, which is in a bottle. Remember to bargain when shopping.
Snacks:
Arab coffee: You can see that it is heated with boiling sand, served in a disposable paper cup, the taste is very unique, with a strong spice flavor.
Kanafeh is a well-known Middle Eastern dessert, with various shapes, all sprinkled with crushed pistachios, the one I ate was really delicious! The sweetness is moderate, the filling is cheese, and it should be eaten while hot. Some others may be sweeter, and you can also buy bagged ones at the airport, which I quite like.
Shawarma: I ordered takeout, the Jordanian fast food set is Shawarma, fries and pickles, this roll is really delicious!
Falafel: Fried bean balls, and also made into sandwiches, I don't like it.
Finally, I want to emphasize that girls should be careful not to go alone, do not go to Jordan alone. Don't go to Rainbow St, there is really nothing, the small streets and alleys are extremely unsafe.
Happiness in Jordan!
Beautiful Jordan for 12 days. Wonderful trip for me to visit my favorite places like Petra, Wadi Rum in summer! :) #freehotelstay

Mt. Nebo at Jordan
Mount Nebo is most known for being the site where Moses overlooked the Holy Land but did not enter it and where a church and a monastery were built to honor him. The book of Numbers (33:47) mentions that when the children of Israel moved from Almon Diblathaim they camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo, and that the children of Reuben rebuilt the city (Numbers 32:38).
The city remained with the Moabites, according to Isaiah: “Moab will wail over Nebo and over Medeba; on all their heads will be baldness, and every beard cut off” (Isaiah 15:2-3). The Prophet Jeremiah (48:1) said of Nebo, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Woe to Nebo! For it is plundered.”
The Prophet Moses “went up from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, which is across from Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land...” but told him, “you shall not go over there.” (Deuteronomy 34:1-4). “So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD, and he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth-peor; but no one knows the place of his burial to this day.” (Deuteronomy 34:5-6).
In the fourth century three domed buildings were erected in the place of the current altar. The place used to have a hidden passage which contained graves decorated with mosaics. On both sides of the place there were two small churches for performing the burial prayers. The baptistery, which is in the northern section of the site, is decorated with mosaics, while the floor of the southern section is decorated with a large cross.
Jordan, A Must Visit for All
This post breaks-down the cost of my trip to Jordan, the purpose of this post is to provide an insight into what is possible and how you can go on lifetime adventures for less than we’re expected to believe.
Beginning with the main headline overall it cost £275 to take a 5 day trip to Jordan and visit one of the world wonders Petra. This cost includes return flights, hotels, visa and tickets to Petra. Below I am going to break down the costs and the options available to save money and have a fantastic experience rich trip.
Flights cost £75 and were booked around 10 days in Advance at the beginning of January from Liverpool. The flight itinerary involved 3 stops in total, a small layover 2 hour layover in Budapest, 12 hours in Venice and 10 hours in Brussels. The Venice layover in particular I utilised to get a €10 return ticket from the airport to the city centre and explored the beautiful city.
Moving onto Hotels Jordan offers a wide variety of hotels at varying levels like most countries in the world. In my case I opted for budget rooms in the capital city of Amman and one with a nice view in Wadi-Musa the town that is situated next to Petra. For me personally travelling I opt for the cheaper rooms as I have itineraries planned that involve me constantly being on that go resulting in the hotel room just being a quick resting and storage location. In Wadi-Musa I was able to get a room with a beautiful view and private bathroom for 19JOD (Jordanian Dinar) which is around £20-£21. Making the cost of Hotels very affordable compared to Europe and the United Kingdom in particular.
When choosing hotels in Amman my recommendation would be to consider your itinerary first, if you plan to visit a lot of the sites you can find a cheap room located in the old part of Amman for 12-20JOD. I would personally recommend this as the markets and restaurants of a night time in this part of Amman are authentic and special in my opinion. The additional bonus to this is you will be within 20 minutes walk of all major old sites within Amman.
The total cost for Tickets and Visas for my trip to Jordan was 75JOD (£83.90), included in this price is a tourist visa, two day access to Petra as well as access to other sites all over Jordan included Amman. The process is easy and a government run scheme, this gave me confidence that the price was reasonable.
In terms of the visa aspects of the pass you do this process by printing off a ticket with a barcode provided via email and show it at Airport customs. For Petra the process is going to a separate usually shorter ticket line at the entrance and picking up your tickets taking less than two minutes.
To conclude I hope this information has helped show and provide some tips so help anyone visit the majestic country of Jordan, you will not regret it!

check-in at the Rose Desert, must-see guide to the mysterious ancient city of Petra.
Lost ancient city, rose desert | Wear a long skirt and go to Jordan
Seven wonders of the world, Mars on Earth.
The lonely ancient city, crossing the desert of a thousand years;
The amazing Dead Sea, tracing the source of faith.
When going to Jordan, remember to bring a long skirt that drags on the ground, swaying in the wind and showing off your grace in the rose desert.
Jordan offers visa on arrival and is a relatively safe country in the Middle East with friendly relations with China. Spring and autumn are the peak tourist seasons.
Must-visit spot:
📍Petra Ancient City
The ancient city is very large. If time allows, at least 2-3 days should be arranged for hiking and taking photos. Climb to the mountaintop and overlook the Kazni Temple, or pass through the canyon and peek into the Rose City through the cracks.
📍Dead Sea
Jordan has the best vacation environment among the countries around the Dead Sea. You can stay there for a night, arrange your time freely, and take a beautiful photo of reading while floating.
📍Vadhiram
Also known as Moon Valley. But it actually looks more like the surface of Mars and is a filming location for many science fiction movies. Here you can experience the must-try desert bubble hotel in this lifetime.
In addition, the capital Amman is also a must-visit place not to be missed. If time allows, there are also Aqaba on the shores of the Red Sea and Jerash, the city of Rome. If you are fascinated by the mysterious Middle East, then you must not miss Jordan.
Jordan
Jordan, officially known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is a country located in the West Asia region, bordering Syria, Iraq, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the Red Sea. The capital of the country is Amman, and the largest city is Aqaba.
Jordan is a dry country surrounded by hills and mountains in the Levant region. In addition, Jordan has many famous attractions such as the ancient city of Petra, the Dead Sea, the Jordan River Valley mentioned in the Old Testament, and the tourist destination of Oman. These attractions make Jordan a popular tourist destination.
Jordan is a traditionally monarchic country, and King Abdullah II is the monarch. The official language of the country is Arabic, and the majority of the population practices Islam. Jordan's economy is mainly based on tourism, chemical industry, agriculture, and mineral extraction, and the country is also a commercial center in the Middle East.
In terms of politics, Jordan has always been one of the relatively stable countries in the Middle East, and it has a place in Middle Eastern and international affairs. As a country that follows Islamic law, Jordan has a deep understanding and appreciation of Islamic culture and traditions, and also supports and promotes the harmonious development of Islam.
My itinerary started from Dubai to Amman, Jordan. The next day, I went to Jerash, which can be reached by charter or by taking a minibus from the North Station. Jerash has preserved a large number of ancient Roman ruins, and the rise and fall of ancient Rome can be seen in the ruins. After returning from Jerash, I visited the ancient Roman theater and Citadel Hill in Amman. The next day, I went to Petra and chatted with a Dutch guy on the way. Petra is a very large ancient city, and it can be tiring to walk around, but overall it was manageable. Continuing down from Petra, I arrived at Wadi Rum, which is famous for its red desert and is the most Mars-like place on this planet. I stayed in the desert for one night and saw the starry sky that I hadn't seen in a long time. The local Bedouin people were very hospitable, and there were people from all over the world in the tents.
Continuing down from Petra, you will arrive at Aqaba, the only port city in Jordan, a small town different from other cities in Amman. Finally, I went to the Dead Sea to experience floating. If you have wounds on your body, you will float especially easily.
Jordanian adventure of eating dirt and drinking water
The Middle East used to have a mysterious allure for you, and Jordan happens to be a relatively safe place in the Middle East. I really want to go to Israel - the historical event of the conflict between Jews and Arabs in the Arab world, but I feel it's dangerous.
day1. Of course, the gray plane flew to the capital Amman. Amman has a mixture of modern and ancient atmosphere, and religious beliefs permeate the entire city. When we were eating in the city center, there were many modernly dressed people around us, but there were also many Arabs dressed in full-body clothing on the street. They all thought I was a cute foreigner and asked to take photos with me. The Roman amphitheater is open-air, which feels like a movie, but the ancient city here is really ancient. Chinese tourists are considered naive and wealthy in the eyes of locals, and some locals enthusiastically take photos for you and then ask for tens of dollars in consumption. If you have time, you can go to their car museum, which displays the king's cars. The gap between rich and poor is even more serious in the Middle East.
day2. The following days will be a mix of eating dirt and drinking water, either freezing in the red soil desert with a down jacket or burning in the Red Sea and Dead Sea, with a night tour of Petra ancient city in between, and maybe a yacht ride to make you happy if you're worried about spending money. Riding camels, climbing the desert, sitting in an open-top truck to feel the northwest wind, and visiting people's tents, my goodness. All of this is to reach a place where we can see stars at night, and finally we arrive, staying in tents and having an Arabian party at night, chatting and sharing grievances with each other and finally watching stars together. Such a sweet memory, hehehe.
day3. The night tour of Petra ancient city is a highlight of the Jordan trip, but Chinese people are seen as superficial tourists by foreigners, just nodding and laughing when the guide talks about something. They often don't know what they have seen, but they remember that there is an ancient ceremony in Jordan where people hold candles in the center of the ancient city and perform a huge ritual, because walking through the giant stones gives a feeling of "walking the history".
day4. Gradually leaving the cold place, we had a yacht party because everyone could finally dress up, eat, drink, and enjoy themselves. Finally, we felt alive again, hehehe. In the previous few days, because the tour guide was afraid that we would be cheated by the local guides when buying things, the tour guide and the local guide had a quarrel and the local guide went on strike on the spot, hehehe. Our tour guide blocked his way and did business, hehehe.
day5. The trip to the Red Sea is very important. Stay at a five-star hotel by the sea, take a mud bath, and float in the Dead Sea. Needless to say, you all understand.
Madaba and Mount Nebo
Amazing religious and cultural cites in the Middle East.
