Autumn in Inverness 🌲
#autumnbeauty
I recently spent a few magical days in Inverness during autumn, and the beauty of the Highlands this time of year is just stunning 🍂. The city itself has such a warm and welcoming feel, with cozy cafes and charming streets to explore. The colors of the trees, turning golden and red, made walks along the River Ness unforgettable. Plus, it’s free to wander around and take in the gorgeous scenery!
One of the highlights was a visit to nearby Loch Ness, which is only about a 30-minute drive from Inverness. We didn’t spot Nessie, but the views of the loch surrounded by autumn foliage were mesmerizing. The entrance fee to Urquhart Castle was around £12, and the view from there was unbeatable. If you’re into history, Inverness Castle and the Culloden Battlefield are also close by, and both are must-sees.
Autumn really brings out the peaceful, mystical vibe of the Highlands, and I’d highly recommend visiting Inverness during this season.

Scotland road trip adventure 🚐
#roadtrips
Just finished an incredible road trip across Scotland, and honestly, it’s a must-do if you love wild landscapes and ancient history. We started in Edinburgh, exploring the famous Edinburgh Castle (entry was around £18), then hit the road towards the Highlands. The drive through Glencoe was unreal—towering mountains, misty valleys, and waterfalls at every turn. It felt like driving through a movie set.
Our next stop was Loch Ness, hoping for a Nessie sighting (no luck, sadly!). Urquhart Castle, overlooking the loch, was definitely worth the visit (around £12 entry). From there, we ventured further north to Inverness, a lovely town with plenty of cozy cafés and scenic walks along the river.
But the real highlight was the Isle of Skye. The Fairy Pools were like stepping into another world, and the views from the Old Man of Storr were unbeatable. Skye’s rugged beauty truly stole my heart.
Scotland’s dramatic landscapes, rich history, and friendly locals made this road trip unforgettable. Can’t wait to return!

NC 500 - Scotland Roadtrip 🚗
#roadtrip
My summer vacation included an epic road trip along Scotland’s NC500, and it was an absolute highlight. The North Coast 500, starting and ending in Inverness, offers some of the most breathtaking landscapes I’ve ever seen. The route is around 500 miles long, with no entrance fee—just the cost of fuel and a few scenic spots where parking might require a small fee. 🚗🏴☠️
From the rugged cliffs of Duncansby Head to the stunning beaches of Achmelvich, every mile brought something new and beautiful. I especially enjoyed the charming villages like Ullapool and the ancient ruins of Castle Sinclair Girnigoe. The drive through the Highlands was awe-inspiring, with its dramatic landscapes and remote beauty.
Nearby, the Isle of Skye offers even more spectacular views and hiking opportunities, and the whisky distilleries scattered along the route were a fantastic way to experience Scotland’s rich heritage. This road trip is perfect for anyone who loves nature, history, and adventure.

Inverness' Hidden Gem 🏴
We were having a walking tour around Inverness then we looked for a place to eat in. We bumped into this hidden absolute gem. The Victorian Market offers so much inside. You will find food stalls where we ate and spent around 10 pounds each for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake.
As we walked around this place, we saw many different shops where you can find jewelries, souviners and etc.
You will surely enjoy looking around and probably buy some stuff that you like.

Enjoy your Inverness trip.

Wandering the Streets of Inverness
#wecreate
Inverness is known as the Capital City of the Scottish Highlands. It is a small quaint city where most tourists would settle before exploring more of the Scottish highlands.
The entire town proper or the high street is not large that you can just wander and walk around. It has a lot of cafes, shops and restaurants. There are hostels, Hotels and Inns etc. for you to choose from.
As an Outlander (TV series) fan , coming and finally seeing Inverness is one of my bucket list and has now been ticked off.
How to get here: There is an international airport
What to see and to do:
1. River Ness
2. Inverness Castle
3. Shopping (Victorian Market)
Enjoy Inverness.

The Scottish highlands 🏔️
#celebratewithtrip
These are my *MUST SEE* spots in the Scottish highlands
Starting with the three sisters of Glencoe:
The view alone is absolutely worth going there!
We walked trough the area for over 3 hours and it was the most amazing thing!
Fort William:
It’s very close to the three sisters, so it definitely makes sense to go there afterwards. We stopped there for a little snack and coffee break and we discovered a great little café called the wildcat. Definitely a must go to cafe!!
The Isle of Sky:
You should consider checking out this island for at least 2-3 days! There are so many great mountains to climb and the view from up there can’t be described in words!!
Isle of Arran:
Very small Island, but so worth it!! I’ll definitely come back there!!
Loch Ness and Inverness:
Inverness is a must Stop for all Outlander Fans! and for all mystery fans - check out if you can spot Nessi!
We went there by bus, but I’d definitely recommend renting a car for this whole trip, because you can see a lot more and are free to stop when- and wherever you want!
bonus tip: stop at the Harry Potter bridge and watch the train pass by!

Loch Ness Cruise 🚢
Address - Riverside, Loch Lomond, Balloch, Balloch, Alexandria G83 8SS, United Kingdom
Highlights - Loch Ness. Breathtaking scenery. Tour around the Loch
Rating - 5/5
As we know that Loch Ness Monster is a mythical animal that allegedly lives in Loch Ness.
My friends and I decided to went for a sightseeing cruise to take a look at the Loch.
I would suggest to visit if you are looking to understand more about the historical story of Loch Ness, wants to look for a place to relax and stay out of city.
I wouldn’t suggest for those who have sea sick to take the cruise as the cruise takes around 1 - 1.5 hours where you will tour around the Loch Ness and the Trossachs National Park.
The cruise is commonly very informative where they will inform you on the various scenic spots that you can take a look and there will have a store inside the cruise for you to buy some drinks and snacks while enjoying the cruise!

When I was looking for dinner, I walked along the street to the lake
although the weather was cold and drizzling at night, I couldnt stop the night view of the lakeside
a quarter of an hour and fell in love with this place
Later, I discovered that this is the legendary "water monster" of Loch Ness
I heard that when the luck is good, you can see the dolphins jump out of the water on the lake
Loch Ness has a beautiful scenery of highland and more because of "water monsters" It is famous for its rumors that it is hidden in the dark lake of Loch Ness
Loch Ness Lake is 39 km wide and 2.4 km wide. The depth of the lake is not deep. It is said that the average depth is more than 200 m
the deepest point is more than 300 meters. Can drown a 40-story building in the cold climate of the Scottish Highlands but can not freeze all year round

Fort Augustus, located at the southern tip of Loch Ness, is a small town with a population of just over 600. Although the town is small, it is picturesque, and the Golden Lion Canal in the center of the town and the chic bars and hotels along the river are quite interesting. The ship lock here is the shrinking version of the Three Gorges Dam lock. The ship enters the ship lock from the upstream and passes through several stages of transition to drive into Loch Ness. Many tables and chairs in the bar are placed next to the Golden Lion Canal lock. You can buy a famous British dark dish, FISH & CHIP, fish and chips, and enjoy the boat locks and passing ships while eating.
