For me, I want to go again, but I recommend sticking to tourist cities for safety. Ladakh road trip - The adventure of a lifetime

For me, the Ladakh road trip is the adventure of a lifetime. Known for its rugged mountains, serene monasteries, and crystal-clear lakes, Ladakh is the perfect destination for road trip enthusiasts. Here’s my suggested itinerary: Day 1: Fly to Delhi Day 2: Early morning flight to Leh. Take time to rest and acclimate to the high altitude to avoid acute mountain sickness. Take a slow walk around the town center. Day 3: Explore Leh and the nearby monasteries. Day 4: Leh - Khardung-La Pass - Nubra Valley Day 5: Nubra Valley - Turtuk Village - Nubra Valley Day 6: Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake Day 7: Pangong Lake - Changla Pass - Leh Day 8: Leh - Tso Moriri Lake (or go directly from Pangong to Tso Moriri to save time—the road is beautiful). Day 9: Tso Moriri - Tanglang La Pass - Leh Day 10: Fly out from Leh. The Ladakh road trip offers countless opportunities for breathtaking photography. The trip to Ladakh is one of my most memorable experiences. I visited Ladakh in autumn because I had heard that the region is especially beautiful during this season. Indeed, that proved to be true. With its golden landscapes and crisp air, late September to early October is the perfect time to witness how the region transforms as the vibrant greenery fades into shades of gold, orange, and brown. Here are the places where I experienced the beauty of autumn: Leh: When we arrived in Leh, the trees in the city were still mostly green, so we decided to head to the Hemis Monastery. Fortunately, the trees there were beginning to turn yellow. Pangong Lake and Tso Moriri: In autumn, the stark contrast of barren mountains, shimmering lakes, and golden poplar trees creates stunning views. The colors of the lakes were truly amazing. Changthang Valley: On the road from Leh to Tso Moriri, we saw an abundance of yellow and red trees, turning the desert landscape into a bright and vibrant picture. #autumnbeauty

#hiddengems Since long time ago, the Ganges river has been the most holiest and sacred river in Hinduism religion that over millions of local people and foreign Hindu believer will visit this place where they believe taking a bath or have a body dip in the river will help cure any illnesses. However, as there are many sewages poured into the river everyday, it has gradually became polluted as only partial of it had gone through some water treatment and nowadays, it is 1 of the most polluted river in the world. Still, people who come will bathe here but it is not that recommend as it can be dangerous with the polluted water. As a tourists, if you are not taking shower here, I would more recommend to chase the sunrise in the very early morning taking the boat and guarantee you wont be disappointed with the stunning sunrise view over the water!! From my inn yesterday, it was only 5 minutes by foot but it felt far because it was cold hehe. Every time I pass by here I am always greeted with the word "Juleh" which means Hello, in Leh I am mistaken for a Malaysian while in Jammu and Jaipur it is mistaken for a Ladakh. Operational hours are around 9/10 am to 7 pm the market is already quiet and dark. Have you ever enjoyed hanging out at a travel agent until 8 pm I was afraid to go home until I forgot the way home because it was dark. Yes, I like hanging out at travel agents because the owner is kind, likes to give hot tea while chatting while sharing wifi 😂. #passionpassport

Jaisalmer - The Golden Heaven

Me and my friend reached the fort, which is in the centre of the city. The fort didn't have a display board for timings, history and map. Everyone pushed us ahead to go on a bike, but we insisted on foot. Only then we saw the history board which was almost wiped out clean. The fort does not have timing as it is a living fort i.e. 90% of the fort @area is being used by locals as accommodation, restaurants, shops, hotel etc. The fort was unclean and very poorly maintained. There is not much history left and the guide (100 inr) hardly explains much. A part of the fort is being converted to the museum i.e. the king and queen area. There are approximately 8 jain temples very famous for their architecture and all were closed (1200-1930 closed). Other temples were open which may be not so old. The shops which sell antique and local wear, one needs to bargain. The fort does give a excellent view of the city. Please carry your own water bottle. Originally red and white, its design is credited to architect Ustad Ahmad Lahori, who also constructed the Taj Mahal. The fort represents the peak in Mughal architecture under Shah Jahan, and combines Persianate palace architecture with Indian traditions.

Solang Valley derives its name from combination of words Solang (Nearby village) and Nallah (water stream). It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing.
