The area has loads of good scenic spots for phototakings and plenty of parking spaces and interesting facts and stuff to see such as the sikorski memorial where it commemorates the B24 crash back in July 1943.

Tramonti Ristorante Pizza
Grand Casemates Square is the larger of the two main squares within the city centre of Gibraltar, located at the northern end of the Main Street, the square is lined with numerous pubs, bars, and restaurants and acts as a gateway into Gibraltar's city centre for most of the tourists.
Tramonti Ristorante Pizza is located within the square, it open daily from 1200-2200, as you stand at the big menu side, attentive staff will quickly approach and arrange the seat for you.
I had ordered Panciotti Con Cappesante E Gamberetti ( Fresh pasta filled with Scalops and Prawns in seafood sauce ) and a beer. The beer was served very fast. After 20 minutes of waiting, my pasta was served, it tasted fresh and delicious.

Beautiful Limestone Cave
St Michael Cave is a name given to a network of limestone caves, located within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve in Gibraltar, at a height of above 300 meters.
The cave was created by rainwater slowly seeping through the limestone rock, turning into a weak carbonic acid which gradually dissolved the rocks, so numerous stalactites and stalagmites in the cave were formed.
The largest of the chambers, named the Cathedral Cave, currently serves as an auditorium. It was converted due to the chamber's natural acoustic properties. It is equipped with a concrete stage and has a seating capacity of over 100.
The cave is one of Gibraltar's top tourist attractions and is open daily. The cave formations are colourfully lit and visitors can read displays documenting the cave's history.

Europa Point is the southernmost point in Gibraltar. At the end of the Rock of Gibraltar, the area is flat and occupied by such features as a playing field and a few buildings.
Harding's Battery is a restored artillery battery in Gibraltar Europa Point, and includes the Europa Sunken Magazine that is now used as a visitor centre.
The Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque is a gift from King Faid of Saudi Arabia, located at Europa Point.
The Europa Point Lighthouse, with the former keeper's cottage to the left, and the former fog-horn house to the right, built in 1838.
On a clear day, visitors can have a view of North Africa, across the strait of Gibraltar including Cetua and the Rif Mountain of Morocco.

#europapoint is actually the end of the continent at the very southern point of #gibraltar . There is lighthouse there and also a sign when you look towards the sea. Also in this position you see the Atlantic Ocean on the right side and the Mediterranean sea in the left. If you turn around on 180° you will see the rock of Gibraltar which is very high and also 1 mosque in front.

At the very end of the continent of Europe Gibraltar is the only place in Europe where you can see monkeys in their natural habitat. They are up in the rock and sometimes are a bit aggressive especially when they see food. Be careful when you visit this place. They are also good pickpockets...

Gibraltar is such a beautiful place at the south of Spain. You cross quick border and then you have to walk through the airport. That was quite an amazing experience to see planes starting from such a close distance. Wonderful beaches and giant, tall rock cutting clouds. #travelinspiration #europeantowns #europetravel #summervacationtravel #summervacation

The charm of Gibraltar is the romance of seeing Africa when you look up.
When you look up, you can see the mountains of North Africa, whether it's Morocco or Ceuta. When there are clouds, it has a subtle beauty, when there are no clouds, it has a transparent beauty, and when the sun sets, it has a blue beauty. It's so touching.
This note summarizes the travel guide, so you can save it if you haven't planned for the New Year or Easter!
🛂 Visa: UK visa or multiple Schengen visas are both acceptable.
Note: Due to strong winds, flights are often diverted to Spain. In this case, some airlines require a Schengen visa. If you don't have one, you can check the weather in advance and talk to the staff at the airport.
💷 Currency exchange: Both GBP and EUR are accepted. Most places accept credit cards, but you need to prepare some cash for the bus.
✈️ Flights: Currently, there are direct flights from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, and Bristol, so it's totally feasible to go for a weekend.
🚕 Taxi: There are taxis at the airport. If you are not at the airport, you can ask the hotel to book one for you. There is no Uber or Bolt here, so if you are in a hurry, you need to hail a cab on the street.
🚌 Bus: Mainly routes 5 and 10, and most places are within walking distance after getting off. If you need a full map of the bus routes, you can check Gibraltar Bus Tracker, which has real-time bus arrivals and is very convenient.
🏨 Accommodation: The Rock is good, an old building where Churchill stayed. It is located halfway up the mountain, with a great view of the Mediterranean Sea/North Africa. The downside is that you need to climb a little. There is also a blogger who recommends Sunburn, which is in the shape of a cruise ship and is very curious.
📸 Photography: There are many places to take photos in Gibraltar! I saw many people recommend the lighthouse and the rock, so here are a few niche photo spots:
1️⃣Catalan Bay: There are colorful houses 🏠, and in the afternoon you can take pictures of the stars and sunshine on the sea!
2️⃣Governor's Lookout Battery: You can take pictures of the whole bay and the buildings on the Spanish side.
3️⃣Botanical Garden: Tropical plants are great for photography. You can look up and take pictures of the cable car 🚡 slowly rising against the blue sky.
4️⃣Airport runway 🛫: You can walk to the middle of the runway and take pictures of the western scenery!
🍲 Food: Spanish, British, and Indian food, there are quite a few options here. I recommend El Faro's paella and Vinopolis' garlic shrimp. If you like Italian food, there's also Papa Luigi.

A sunny and happy seaside town.
A sunny seaside town, with a much more pleasant English accent, and the euro 💶 becomes the pound 💷, suddenly making prices feel higher 📈. The people here are very nice and chill, and the bus drivers greet passengers loudly and friendly when they get on and off the bus, and the passengers respond enthusiastically. It was funny to see the surprised and helpless expression on the driver's face when a couple of foreigners asked if they could get on the bus with a 100 euro bill, and he waved them on for free 🆓.
If you have time, it is recommended to stay overnight in the town, watch the sunrise on the east coast, watch the sunset on the west coast, chase dolphins 🐬 in the blue sea under the clear sky, and see the native macaques 🐒 in the mountains.
✔️Location: Standing on the giant rock, you can see the entire Gibraltar Peninsula and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Gibraltar Airport to the north, and Spain behind the airport, the Mediterranean Sea to the east, and Morocco and the Spanish North African territory of Ceuta across the Strait of Gibraltar to the south, where you can see North Africa across the strait.
✔️Main attractions:
1. The Moorish Castle: This ancient castle is one of Gibraltar's iconic buildings, offering magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and rich historical sites.
2. Apes' Den: Part of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve, this is an ideal place to see Gibraltar macaques, where visitors can get up close and personal with these adorable animals.
3. St. Michael's Cave: These magnificent caves are lavishly decorated and host a variety of concerts and cultural events, making them a unique destination.
4. Europa Point Lighthouse: The southernmost point of Gibraltar, the lighthouse is surrounded by beautiful beaches and parks, making it a great place to watch the sunset.

Come see the Apes of Gibraltar!
You can see the Gibraltar apes, also known as Barbary macaques, at the Upper Rock Nature Reserve in Gibraltar. They are commonly found in the area around the Rock of Gibraltar, especially at places like the Ape's Den and the top of the Rock. The macaques are one of Gibraltar's main tourist attractions and are often seen roaming freely around the reserve. Be cautious, as they are wild animals and can be unpredictable.

Gibraltar Caves, A Majestic Sight To See
#wecreate #england #cave #sightseeing #tripblazers #explore #gibraltar #unesco
Gibraltar is a popular tourists attraction located in UK which is also called the hollow cave. There are many hollow cave due to all these erosion by sea and winds on the limestone rocks.
This is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage, due to the unique rock formation from stalagtities and limestone. Some can even be more than 500 feet deep!
Visiting the cave can be quite an amazing sight to see especially when the caves are being lighted up with colourful lights which reflects onto the rocks and hollow spaces. Of course, this isn't wheel chair friendly due to the many steps in the caves and do alsp require an entrance fee.

Miss the blue of the southernmost Europe.
I once had the privilege of visiting the southernmost region of Europe - Gibraltar. This place is located on the southern coast of Spain, and is a small but mysterious and historic land.
When I first arrived in Gibraltar, I was attracted by its unique natural scenery. The terrain here is higher, with towering peaks and beautiful surroundings, as well as blue skies, white clouds, and brilliant sunshine, which make people feel happy both physically and mentally.
Apart from that, Gibraltar also has many attractions and scenic spots worth visiting. The most famous of these is undoubtedly the Rock of Gibraltar. This towering mountain reaches a height of 425 meters and offers a panoramic view of Gibraltar and the surrounding sea from its summit. In addition, Gibraltar is also home to the world-renowned "Monkey Island", the only place in Europe where wild macaques roam freely, making it a very interesting destination.
In Gibraltar, I also visited local museums and historical sites, including the Gibraltar Castle, St. Michael's Cave, St. Bernard's Church, etc. These are all important places that reflect the history and culture of Gibraltar.
In short, although Gibraltar is not big, it has unique natural scenery and rich historical and cultural heritage, which is worth a visit. If you plan to travel to Spain, why not take some time to come here and experience the unique charm of the southernmost part of Europe!

Gibraltar: the gateway to the Mediterranean Sea.
The famous Strait of Gibraltar controls the access to and from the Mediterranean Sea. Due to its strategic location, Gibraltar is still managed by the United Kingdom. Therefore, visiting Gibraltar is like visiting another country! The most important attraction in Gibraltar is the Rock of Gibraltar, which can be reached by cable car from the city center. While enjoying the view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, you can also visit Europa Point, the southernmost point of the Rock of Gibraltar. On a clear day, you can see North Africa across the strait.
Transportation: Take the Altaria high-speed train from Madrid or Cordoba to Algeciras, then transfer to bus route 120 to La Linea. From there, you can cross the border on foot and reach Gibraltar. La Linea also has buses that go directly to major cities in Andalusia.

British Overseas Territory
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and city located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula. It has an area of 6.7 kilometers square and is bordered to the north with Spain ( La Linea de la Concepcion ).
The border crossing is easy and fast, after clearance and out, you will see a red telephone booth, reminds you that you are now in Britain.
Gibraltar International Airport is unusual not only because of its proximity to the city centre resulting in the airport terminal being within walking distance to much of Gibraltar, requires a moveable barricades to close when the plane arrives or departs.
Victoria Stadium is the only soccer stadium in Gibraltar. The Mooish Castle's Tower of Homage is the largest surviving remnant of Mooish Gibraltar. Main street is the shopping paradise in Gibraltar for visitors to buy their duty free products.
