Fayu Temple

Fayu Temple is not the largest temple on Mount Putuo, but I prefer it just from its name. It always gives me a sense of a cold and fragmented Chinese atmosphere, like a forever unattainable cold second male lead. Today, I first went to Puji Temple and then to Fayu Temple. Puji Temple was crowded with people and filled with incense smoke. For a tourist who doesn't believe in Buddhism and just looks at the scenery, there was nothing particularly special. But I was amazed at the first sight of Fayu Temple: first, a ray of sunlight blocked the lens, giving the stone carvings at the entrance a hazy feel; then, the yellow walls and black characters under the shade of ancient trees exuded a calmness amidst their elegance. From Fayu Temple, you can directly go up to Foding Mountain. I forgot to mention, the vegetarian meal is really simple and unpretentious, hahaha, but it tastes good. It's 5 yuan per person, unlimited, which is very suitable for people who didn't bring snacks to replenish their energy (after all, everything in the scenic area is expensive). But they only accept cash~
