Shata is a bit boring for lazy people.

After driving through the Yizhao Highway to Zhaosu, I thought I should go to Shata to have a look, after all, it is famous. But the road from Zhaosu to Shata is under construction, and there are pipes being dug everywhere, making it very difficult to drive. The whole way was bumpy. 🎈‼️ I was too lazy, so I chose to take the shuttle bus. You can also drive there. But the scenery along the way is just so-so, and driving is not that interesting. I went there during the National Day holiday, and there were not many tourists. The interesting thing is that I met the indigenous people of Shata on the shuttle bus, a family of Kazakh friends. They shared with us stories about herding sheep and riding horses, which were quite interesting. The main scenery in Shata is snow-capped mountains and glaciers. But to be honest, you can see snow-capped mountains anywhere. Later, I went to Pamir, and there were snow-capped mountains all the way. This place is mainly a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, because you can walk for a long time to the glacier, and you may be able to cross the north and south of Xinjiang. After all, this is the shortcut to cross the north and south of Xinjiang in ancient times. I walked to the General Bridge and stopped. Further on, there are dirt roads mixed with cow dung and horse manure.
