Golden Whip Stream: The Lost World Nature

#naturalbeauty On our first walk, we paid attention to the waters of the Golden Whip Stream (金鞭溪)) or Jinbianxi Stream of the Golden Whip and surrounding nature stuff. There is a very beautiful Jinbianxi Stream (Golden Whip) in Zhangjiajie. The stream flows through a 7.5 km long gorge, the waters of the stream resemble a jade ribbon; they flow quietly in a deep gorge, the water is clear like a mirror, everything is visible here to the very bottom. The trail starts from the Old Mill Cove (Old Mill Cove, Laomowan, 老磨湾) or Laomo Wang Square, where you can hire porters who can carry you or your belongings to the end of the trail for 300 yuan. From Laomo Wang Square to Golden Whip Peak or Golden Whip Rock (金鞭岩), because of which the river is named, there are two trails - the main one with a “wellness” path and the second one with the name Red Road (Hongjun Road (红军路)). The main one is much more interesting, and the second one is good to come back.
