Travel Through Time and Explore the Beauty of Yuhu Village!

At the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain in Yunnan lies a forgotten ancient village called Yuhu Village. This peaceful and simple village is full of primitive passion and beauty. I embarked on an immersive documentary filming journey to explore the true face of this mysterious land. On the first day, I arrived at Yuhu Village and was immediately captivated by its beauty. I took photos around the village, and every corner was a perfect shooting spot. I chatted with a kind old man about Dongba culture, helped an old lady feed horses, and played with the village children, experiencing the unique innocence and enthusiasm of this land. On the morning of the second day, I carried my equipment and walked along the road to Longnv Lake, with the majestic snow-capped mountains on the left and the beautiful mountain city on the right. On this road, dark clouds, warm white clouds, light blue and orange skies, and mist intertwined to create a stunning picture, making me feel the wonder of nature. On the evening of the third day, an old lady in the village gave me a Naxi language book and taught me comprehensively. Although I learned a lot, I forgot everything when I woke up. On the fourth day, I challenged myself with a ridge hike, covering 20 kilometers, climbing 1,000 meters, and reaching an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters. The challenges of various road conditions along the way exhausted me physically and mentally, but I took many wonderful photos with the snow-capped mountains and ancient city as the backdrop, making all the hard work worthwhile. Yuhu Village gave me a sense of tranquility, simplicity, enthusiasm, and primitiveness. Here, I walked and photographed the vast mountain city scenery at sunrise and sunset, experiencing the magnificence of the golden mountains up close. During the shooting process, I discovered a hidden route that passed through grasslands and small forests, perfectly blending with the snow-capped mountains, resulting in amazing shooting effects! Yuhu Village is easily accessible, with options for electric cars, self-driving, or hiking. In terms of accommodation, there are mid-to-high-end hotels available, and the village restaurants are reasonably priced. There are also many attractions worth visiting nearby, such as Yushui Village, Dongba Wanshen Garden, and Yuzhu Qingtian, which are not to be missed.
