Xi'an｜Traveling with Kids

Since my child watched "Lijiang Eternal Love" in Yunnan, they have completely fallen in love with live performances. So, with eager anticipation for "Xi'an Eternal Love," we set off on our trip to Xi'an ❤️❤️❤️ 🚅 Chengdu → Xi'an, a must for time managers: night train + early morning arrival = not wasting a single second❗ 🏨 Stayed at a hotel near Bell and Drum Towers, right next to the subway station, really super convenient to go anywhere 👍🏻 ▶▶▶ Day 1️⃣ Shaanxi History Museum Qin and Han Dynasty Hall → Xi'an City Wall → Bell and Drum Towers → Muslim Quarter ✨ The main exhibition halls of the Shaanxi History Museum are under maintenance, so we went to the Qin and Han Dynasty Hall instead, which was still worth the visit! We took a taxi from the hotel to the museum; the subway is also an option, but taxi saves more time～ ✨ The Xi'an City Wall is 13 kilometers long. If you get tired, you can exit at any gate. Only grilled sausages and popcorn are sold on the wall, so if you have kids, it's recommended to bring some snacks in advance～ Day 2️⃣ Lishan Park → Terracotta Warriors → "The Song of Everlasting Sorrow" live performance ✨ We visited Lishan Park and the Terracotta Warriors. We joined a group tour with other families and hired a guide, costing just over 20 yuan per person. The kids listened and watched attentively and gained a lot～ ✨ Watched "The Song of Everlasting Sorrow" at night. It was freezing without thermal pants. There are blankets for rent at the scenic spot entrance; I suggest renting one for 10 yuan instead of toughing it out like me～ Day 3️⃣ "Xi'an Eternal Love" → "Camel Bell Legend" → Tang Paradise Night Market ✨ Tang Paradise Night Market is very crowded. If you want to watch performances, be sure to check the program schedule in advance and secure the best seats early～ ✨ There are many photo stalls along the street at Tang Paradise Night Market. You can choose any; most charge 10 yuan per photo, but you can try to bargain a bit～
