What To Do at Marina Bay Sands

And when I think of Singapore, I immediately picture the iconic Marina Bay Sands, a towering structure with 3 pillars topped by a shape of a ship. The skyscraper is designed by Moshe Safdie. It's a hotel with a shopping complex connected to it. It also houses the famous infinity pool at the highest level of the hotel. You can never really leave Singapore without visiting or taking a photo of MBS. And if possible, I recommend visiting at both day and night times as photos' atmosphere will be different at both times. The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is what the shopping complex is called. It's the most accessible part of the Marina Bay Sands complex. Luxury shops and designer stores are mainly what make up the retail list of the shopping mall. It is usually decked with decorations especially on festival or themed holidays and celebrations or events in Singapore. Some examples are christmas, chinese new year, and the Eras Tour concert early this year. The shopping complex also houses popular restaurants with a wide variety of cuisines of different price points too. Aside from shopping and eating, there are also some activities and attractions you can do and see within the premises of the complex. There's the Digital Light Canvas, the sampan ride, the oculus, the Sands Theater, outdoor light & water show at night as examples. The hotel itself also houses popular restaurants at the rooftop. Another attraction located at the top of the hotel itself is the Skypark Observation Deck. Marina Bay Sands is easily accessible via public and private transport. The nearest MRT station is Bayfront of blue and orange line. Weekends usually has a crowd but weekday visits are generally acceptable. #tripblazers #singapore
