UNESCO Garden

#singapore #garden #botanic #unesco Visit Singapore’s first UNESCO site ever! Located around 10 minutes away from the city center, this place is extremely accessible. Although it’s located so near the city, you’d be surprised and amazed to see how rich in flora and fauna it is. Fun fact about the botanic gardens is that it’s cornerstone tree species is the Fig. Meaning to say that the Fig tree is the main source of food for most of the organisms living in the garden! You’ll be able to spot these Fig tree by looking for trees with little red balls sticking out of their branches.
