Stretching from Waibaidu Bridge in the north to Yan'an East Road in the south, it features the shimmering Huangpu River and the skyscrapers of Lujiazui in Pudong to the east, while the west side boasts 52 classical revival buildings in diverse architectural styles, showcasing Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and Sino-Western fusion, bearing witness to over a century of concession history. The Bund is most enchanting at night, with thousands of lights reflecting off the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower across the river, creating what is known as "the most beautiful night view in the East." Visitors can stroll along the elevated observation deck, enjoying the contrast between the skyscrapers and the old buildings, or take a Huangpu River cruise for a panoramic view from the water. The Bund is also a cultural landmark of Shanghai, with the Peace Hotel, Bank of China Building, and Customs House among the popular photo spots.
