Getting There -  the easiest ways to reach the bund are either via the metro or by taking a didi (taxi) Attractions - there are several fun and entertaining attractions in the area, the most prominent one being the Pearl Tower. Hotels - hotels are excellent and in abundance on either side of the river by the Bund. Food & Restaurants - it is definitely worth the hassle of translating menus of some excellent Chinese restaurants rather than just going to the nearest McDonald's.
