Most satisfying Malay lunch set in Seremban

I was heading to Negeri Sembilan and absolutely craving a decent lunch of delicious Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api (smoked beef cooked in coconut and bird eye chilli gravy) which originates from the little state and so my bestie brought me to Hayyan Huda semi-hidden away in Kampung Bukit Temiang in Seremban. The restaurant is actually operated and owned by a family of professionals (a gynaecologist, an art director, a dentist, a helicopter pilot, an engineer and a few others and put them all together with some old school experience of Opah and her husband Abu and that was how Hayyan Huda came to be…. Hayyan Huda has been operating since 2018, specializing in Daging Salai Masak Lomak, Asam Pedas Daging Tetel, Siakap Cili Api & Sambal Balado. This cafe restaurant happens to be a special needs friendly place, and that is why diners are required to take off their shoes before entering the restaurant, so that the floors are relatively clean enough for autistic kids to sit or lie on… The ‘daging salai’ (smoked beef) is a big meal favourite there and once you try it, you know why!!! With the right amount of spiciness and the tender chunks of smoked meat, it sure is irresistible…. Prices are also very affordable considering the cafe restaurant’s ambiance and comfort….
