The Second Palace of Seoul - Changdeokgung Palace

Leaving the cafe and walking straight for about 5 minutes, you will come across one of the five palaces of Korea, which is Changdeokgung Palace. The palace covers an area of approximately 280 acres, which is quite large and includes 13 buildings. In addition to the well-preserved buildings from the restoration, there are also pine trees that are likely hundreds of years old and in good condition to see. The first building you will encounter is the throne hall, which is the king's residence used for state affairs or important ceremonies. The building is made of wood and is exquisitely beautiful, having been recognized by UNESCO in 1997. Next, there are the inner palace buildings, the kitchen, small rooms used for receiving guests, study rooms, or rooms for the queens. A tour of the garden here may take about 1 hour to complete. The entrance fee is 3000 won, which is quite reasonable.
