Seoul have my soul 🤍

#seoul Discovered Ikseondong when I was browsing through Instagram, so I decided to pay it a visit during our trip to Seoul. Ikseon-Dong is a district slightly east of Insadong. It’s a neighborhood with the cutest little alleys with many Hanoks, trendy boutiques, amazing cafes and great restaurants. Some call Ikseon-Dong the hipster place of Seoul. It is certainly one of the trendiest and most up and coming neighbourhoods in Seoul. The atmosphere in the middle of these alleys with all these Hanoks is just fantastic! The connecting alleys which makes you feel like you are in a maze but there's something good waiting for you at every turn. It is also an incredible place for your instagram photos. There are so many great angles from which you can take stunning shots. The cool thing about the neighborhood is that the alleys are really small, so you feel like you’re walking around a complete different part of Seoul. Quaint little shops and cafes converted from ancient imarchitectures filled up the streets, displaying a perfect blend of modern and history in the heart of Seoul. We tried several of them, but beware there's a long waiting line in front of the popular spots. It seems touristy, but the majority are locals and it was really nice to visit this area for a couple of hours. Although it was pretty packed the day we went, the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and we really enjoyed seeing the Hanok being transformed into cafes and other shops. Tip: My advice is to go early - when they open to avoid line ups. #passionpassport #vacation #spring2023 #hanok
