Kakunodate, Akita

Kakunodate in Akita prefecture is famous for its samurai district which did not disappoint. People who already have an interest and some knowledge would surely appreciate all the preserved buildings and artifacts on display here. On the other side of the town is a quiet river and park which makes for a nice stroll back down off the busier streets. After visiting the town itself, I really can't recommend the nearby Lake Tazawako enough for the second part of your trip! 📍Address:
