Gothic Cathedral

It is located at Calle Marques del Arco, 1, 40001 Segovia, which was built in the mid 16th century. The Gothic-style Roman church dedicated to Virgin Mary. It replaced the Old Cathedral that is located in the current gardens of Alcazar, which was destroyed during the war of the Communities in 1520. In the west, next to Enlosado, is the main facade, its entrance is known as Puerta del Perdon, with the sculpture of Virgin. The door of San Geroteo is located at the southern facades that was finished in the 18th century. In the north we will see the Puerta de San Frutos built in honor of the patron saint of the city. The Cathedral of Segovia has an ambulatory structure, beautiful windows with fine tracery and stained glass windows of exceptional quality.
