### **Day 1: Exploring Qingdao’s Iconic Landmarks**  
- **Arrival:** Landed at Qingdao Liuting International Airport (now Qingdao Jiaodong Airport). A taxi ride took me to my hotel near May Fourth Square, offering stunning sea views.  
- **May Fourth Square (五四广场):** A must-visit spot featuring the iconic “Wind of May” sculpture. The area is lively, surrounded by modern skyscrapers and bustling with locals and tourists.  
- **Zhanqiao Pier (栈桥):** Strolled along the historic pier extending into the sea. The classic Huilan Pavilion at the end of the pier is a symbol of Qingdao.

### **Day 2: German Charm and Beach Relaxation**  
- **Badaguan Scenic Area (八大关):** This historic district features European-style villas and tree-lined streets. A peaceful morning walk here felt like stepping into another era.  
- **St. Michael’s Cathedral:** A magnificent Gothic and Romanesque-style church, reflecting Qingdao's German influence. Perfect for photography and history buffs.  
- **No. 1 Bathing Beach:** Enjoyed some leisure time at this famous sandy beach. Clear waters and soft sands made it ideal for a relaxing afternoon.

- **Laoshan Scenic Area (崂山):** Took a day trip to this sacred Taoist mountain. The cable car ride offered breathtaking views of the sea and granite peaks. Visited Taiqing Palace, a Taoist temple with serene surroundings.  
- **Tsingtao Beer Museum:** Learned about the history of Tsingtao Beer, one of China’s most famous brands. Tasted freshly brewed beer while exploring the exhibits.

- **Seafood Feast:** Qingdao is known for its fresh seafood. Tried grilled clams, sea cucumbers, and spicy prawns at a local night market.

🔵有一條海邊小路，沿著對岸上去就是孤獨的海邊燈塔，超有氛圍感

🔵露營㊙地，️沒有人的海邊，幾艘停泊的漁船，安靜的世外桃源。沙灘上有很多貝殼、海星、鵝卵石，一不小心就找到了寶藏

3️⃣中國攝影之島
📍導航可至，有少量停車位
🔵距離甘水灣不遠處的地標觀景點，可以隔海眺望對面的老青島，像是在電影裡，我們去的時候正好是24年的最後一個滿月之日，很多攝影老師在這裡拍攝月亮升起，超級美

4️⃣左批觀日驛站
📍導航可至，有停車場
🔵小眾賞海露營地，無敵海景，還可以耍個海，退潮時的礁石像極了卡帕多奇亞的月球石

5️⃣海神廟

🔵我們去了很多次的露營地，有大海有草坪有木棧道

🔵海神廟到碧海聽濤的一路，有通往海邊的小階梯，有茅草頂的小亭子，有酷似冰島的黑礁石，有層層疊疊的階梯，每一處都美到陶醉

🔵海神廟西側方向，沿途會路過專門的房車露營區，公園也是個寶藏公園，趕海，拍照，遛娃多種玩法應有盡有

離海最近的遊樂場，很多好玩的無動力設施，一邊玩耍一邊看著夕陽灑滿了海面，培養孩子與生俱來的浪漫感，就從這裡開始吧，哈哈

📍 Navigate to Beihai Rescue Bureau Qingdao Base
🔵 There is a small road by the sea, and along the opposite shore, you'll find a lonely lighthouse by the sea, creating a captivating atmosphere.
2️⃣ Ganshui Bay
📍 Navigate to Ganshui Bay Village, where you'll find a small road leading to the sea.
🔵 A secret camping spot, a deserted beach, a few moored fishing boats, and a tranquil paradise. The beach is filled with shells, starfish, and pebbles, and you might stumble upon hidden treasures.
3️⃣ China's Photography Island
📍 Navigate to the location, where there are a few parking spaces.
🔵 A landmark viewing spot not far from Ganshui Bay, offering a view of old Qingdao across the sea, like a scene from a movie. When we visited, it was the last full moon of 2024, and many photographers were capturing the moonrise, creating a stunning sight.
4️⃣ Zuopi Guansun Post Station
📍 Navigate to the location, where there is a parking lot.
🔵 A niche spot for sea viewing and camping, offering unbeatable sea views. You can also enjoy the sea, and the rocks at low tide resemble the lunar rocks of Cappadocia.
5️⃣ Haishen Temple
📍 Navigate to Haishen Temple.
🔵 A camping spot we've visited many times, with the sea, grass, and wooden walkways.
6️⃣ Bihai Tingtao Post Station
🔵 Along the way from Haishen Temple to Bihai Tingtao, there are small steps leading to the sea, a small pavilion with a thatched roof, black rocks reminiscent of Iceland, and layered steps, each spot is mesmerizingly beautiful.
7️⃣ Phoenix Mountain Park
🔵 In the direction west of Haishen Temple, you'll pass by a dedicated RV camping area. The park is a hidden gem, offering various activities like beachcombing, photography, and family outings.
8️⃣ Hanbi Tower Hotel
A landmark hotel with iconic sea views, definitely worth a visit.
9️⃣ Ocean Joy
The amusement park closest to the sea, with many fun non-powered facilities. Play while watching the sunset over the sea, and nurture your child's innate sense of romance, starting here, haha.

A super niche sea viewing spot, so niche that you can have an entire coastline to yourself, perfect for beachcombing, sea play, and sea viewing.

都是100平方米。區別只在於景觀和朝向。

客房服務幾乎隨叫隨到。但是設施的確有些舊，衛生真的很一般。晚上可以聽見樓下的浪濤聲。來的這幾天趕上青島下雪太冷了。只能躺在房間裡欣賞海景了。

Room type:
(Sea View Suite, Deluxe Sea View Suite, Executive Deluxe Sea View Suite) These three room types are exactly the same! Facilities and layout are the same.
All are 100 meters. The only difference is the view and direction.
Room service is almost on call. However, the facilities are indeed a bit old, and the hygiene is really average. You can hear the sound of waves at night. It was too cold when I came here because it was snowing in Qingdao. I could only lie in the room and enjoy the sea view.

Shui Sha Lian skillfully combines Chinese cuisine, Taiwanese flavors, and Qingdao seafood to create a unique culinary experience.

The steamed cod with pickled mustard seeds is a harmonious blend of the sweet and sour notes of the mustard seeds and the tender cod, creating a refreshing and rich taste. The black truffle scallops with homemade tofu feature tender scallops that melt in your mouth, with the unique aroma of black truffle elevating the dish to a new level of sophistication.

The classic dishes are equally impressive. The appetizer platter is beautifully presented, with the Narada Resort & Spa logo adding a touch of creativity. The hotel is backed by Phoenix Mountain and surrounded by the sea on three sides. Its unique location is like a gentle caress from nature. Surrounded by the light and shadow of the hotel, you can see the vastness of the sea. The endless blue easily calms your mind.

Designed by international architect Kerry Hill, the hotel is like an otherworldly object. The exterior is covered with copper mesh, which turns green over time and blends with the surrounding natural environment. It looks as if it grew from the mountains and sea, exuding a natural beauty.

Each room faces the sea, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows let you wake up to the blue sea every morning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, starting at 100 square meters. The soft amenities, elegant bath ceramics, warm walnut wood, and marble bathtub all make you feel relaxed.

You can enjoy the same water quality as the Chaori Hot Spring on Green Island, Taiwan, without leaving Qingdao. In winter, you can soak in the hot spring by the sea, listen to the waves, and enjoy the warmth of the stone pool. It is a romantic way to resist the cold winter.

The cultural charm of the hotel is embodied in the chimes, the Four Books and Five Classics, and the thread-bound Analects of Confucius. The pool at the entrance combines the five elements of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth. 運營，服務和餐飲擺爛。現狀令人惋惜，淡季可住。

五四廣場旁一街之隔的兩家，香格里拉新樓裝修不錯，且酒廊✨很漂亮。
威斯汀的公區面積夠大，酒廊可以俯視五四廣場。不過這兩家視野👀受遮擋嚴重，看海🌊都不太行。個人認為這兩家住基礎房享受位置/公區比較合適，酒廊可自選。

帆船/海天/瑞吉
八大關高樓酒店三兄弟，距海一條街，🌊海景無敵。帆船價格最低，公區比較亂，房間類似公寓，但無論城景海景視野都不錯。瑞吉很奢，主打海景，沒有酒廊。
海天大酒店很全面，餐廳🍴多公區佈局合理，個人認為是能掛JW萬豪的水準。這仨適合喜歡躺酒店👀風景的客人，房型越高越舒服。

美高梅/釣魚台
高樓酒店的一體兩面，距離石老人浴場兩個街區，遠海景🌊。美高梅西式風格，🎣釣魚台中式風格，前者適合帶娃/休閒，後者更商務，兩家公區通用。設計上釣魚台更好，價格上美高梅更低。

凱悅
青島酒店性價比，下樓就是石老人浴場，公區裝修超標，酒廊誠意拉滿。進可低房型享受公區位置直達海灘，退可高房型享受酒廊天際視野躺看👀海景。

傲途格
新開酒店，公區在裝修不完善，設計美式工業風很耐看，距海🌊比較遠。建議淡季+裝修結束後再去。

洲際
享有全青島最正奧帆+燈光💡秀視野，但酒店老了，房間一般，酒廊也平平。如果不住這家的話建議日落前去頂樓酒吧喝一杯🍺，景觀一致。

距離啤酒🍺節場地最近的一家酒店，城堡外觀裝修在線，房間也不舊，旺季經常滿房。戶外泳池🏊🏻不錯，自助餐🍲出品也很棒。

淺談青島！海邊的好幾家五星級酒店

Hanbi Tower
Located in Huangdao District, the location is relatively remote. This hotel has top-notch views, decoration, and design. 🌟
The operation, service, and dining are disappointing. The current situation is regrettable, but it can be visited during the off-season.

 Shangri-La/Westin
Two hotels separated by a street next to May Fourth Square, the new building of Shangri-La is well decorated, and the lounge✨ is very beautiful.
The public area of the Westin is large enough, and the lounge overlooks May Fourth Square. However, the views👀 of these two hotels are severely obstructed, and the sea🌊 view is not very good. Personally, I think it is more suitable to stay in a basic room to enjoy the location/public area, and the lounge can be optional.

 Sailing/Sea Sky/St. Regis
The three high-rise hotels in Badaguan, one street away from the sea, 🌊 have unbeatable sea views. Sailing has the lowest price, the public area is relatively messy, and the rooms are similar to apartments, but the city and sea views are good. St. Regis is very luxurious, focusing on sea views, and has no lounge.
Sea Sky Hotel is very comprehensive, with many restaurants🍴 and a reasonable layout of public areas. Personally, I think it is at the level of JW Marriott. These three are suitable for guests who like to lie in the hotel👀 and enjoy the scenery, and the higher the room type, the more comfortable it is.

 MGM/Diaoyutai
Two sides of the same high-rise hotel, two blocks away from Shilaoren Bathing Beach, with distant sea views🌊. MGM has a Western style, 🎣 Diaoyutai has a Chinese style, the former is suitable for families/relaxation, and the latter is more business-oriented. The public areas of the two hotels are shared. In terms of design, Diaoyutai is better, and in terms of price, MGM is lower.

 Hyatt
The best value for money hotel in Qingdao, downstairs is Shilaoren Bathing Beach, the public area decoration exceeds the standard, and the lounge is very sincere. You can enjoy the public area and direct access to the beach with a low room type, or enjoy the lounge's skyline view and lie down to see the sea view👀 with a high room type.

 Autograph Collection
Newly opened hotel, the public area is not fully decorated, the design is American industrial style and very eye-catching, and it is relatively far from the sea🌊. It is recommended to visit during the off-season + after the decoration is completed.

 InterContinental
It has the best view of the Olympic Sailing Center and light show💡 in Qingdao, but the hotel is old, the rooms are average, and the lounge is also mediocre. If you don't stay at this hotel, it is recommended to go to the rooftop bar for a drink🍺 before sunset, the view is the same.

 Hilton
The hotel closest to the beer🍺 festival venue,  the castle exterior decoration is online, the rooms are not old, and it is often fully booked during the peak season. The outdoor swimming pool🏊🏻 is good, and the buffet🍲 is also great.
