The park is clean and beautiful. With the size of 3 hectares, it is a suitable to eradicate stresses and enjoy the fresh air. Shady trees and green grasses become the main features of the park, actually. No wonder, the nuance is quite rejuvenating. It is suitable to find peace and get closer to nature, for sure. What’s more? Visitors can find a man-made lake there. Despite the small size, it becomes tourists’ favorite spot for fishing. With all those features, Cattleya Park should be everyone’s choice when it comes to choosing a place to relax in Palmerah. Decorated by many types of flowers and plants, the park appears charming and comforting. Not to mention many public facilities are available, so visitors would enjoy the recreation without any problems. #awesomepic #springblossomjakarta #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

Taman Bunga Nusantara

This flower garden is one of the best we visited. One thing that was beyond our imagination was that it is concealed deep in Puncak area down in the valley with very poor access roads! But we got there, the garden was awesome with varieties of flowers from domestic and overseas. The blooms and blossoms of the varieties created lovely scenery where can pick any spot for selfie. However, the garden is located in the valley of the heights/Puncak making it a bit warmer especially during sunshine. The garden is actually accessible on foot around the paths among the flowers. This area is very huge and has many things to see. There are many flowers and it seemed like heaven on earth. Family and I enjoyed this place and we went around and seeing many types and colors of those flowers. #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #springblossomjakarta #awesomepic #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

Bogor Botanical Gardens

Bogor botanical garden is the first botanical garden in Indonesia. It lies in the heart of Bogor. There are 2 orchid houses near the café. The newer one is full with commercial orchids such as phalaenopsis, dendrobium, and cattleya. The older one contains the ingenious orchids from rainforests all over Indonesia. Most of these orchids are smaller and they don’t bloom as often as the commercial ones, but they smell very nice. Another unique spot to see is the lotus ponds. They are hardly to miss because there are a few ponds scattered in this garden. The lotus has round giant leaves floating on the water. #springblossomjakarta #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

Orchid Forest Cikole

Orchid Forest Cikole Lembang is a lovely park in the middle of pine forest. This park is beautifully decorated with lots of various orchids as well as other flowers. As soon as we enter the gate, we will see many orchids in the pots surrounding the lobby. The orchids also planted in the tree trunks. Why orchid? Because orchids are beautiful flowers from tropical rain forest. As a tropical country that lies right on equator, Indonesia has plenty varieties of orchids. Most orchids are epiphytes, i.e. they grow anchored to trees in the forest. Although nowadays they are already cultivated in the nurseries and decorating many residences, hotels, and airports around the world, this is the first time I see orchids decorating a pine forest :) #springblossombandung #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #awesomepic #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

Orchid Park Indonesia Permai

Although it is named Taman Anggrek Indonesia Permai (TAIP), it is not a park or garden per se (taman is bahasa Indonesia for garden). TAIP is the place where you can buy many kinds of orchids! If you like orchids, you will not get bored in Taman Anggrek Indonesia Permai. You will find various types of orchids here, from the popular ones such as phaleonopsis and dendrobium, to the classic such as catleya, and the trending one from Brazil. The vendors relayed that the present trend is people prefer orchids fresh from the forest, which looks are very rare and have sweet-scent. Naturally, they are expensive. Taman Anggrek Indonesia Permai is located near Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, but it has different parking lot Taman Anggrek Indonesia Permai is located near Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, but it has different parking lot and gate. Sadly, the street sign to TAIP is almost nonexistent. So, if you are not familiar with the area, you'd better turn on your google map immediately, before you get lost and spend hours circling this heavy traffic area. gate. #springblossoms #urbanexplorer #springblossomjakarta #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

Scientia Square Park

Green spaces are a bit of a commodity in Jakarta and the farm’s lovely sunflower gardens make for a nice reprieve after seeing one too many of our city’s towering skyscrapers. As it’s located right by the ocean, the area has a nice breeze even during the day, making even alfresco dining viable under Indonesia’s blazing, hot sun. This new location proudly wears its concept on its sleeve, as it’s located in the middle of an urban farm where we can gorge on their versions of classic Southeast Asian cuisine while admiring the lovely sunflowers outside. While you’re waiting for your food to be served, spend time exploring the farm’s lovely sunflower garden. If you’re keen on creating your own slice of greenery at home, the Kinetic Farm eco-living store next door is the perfect spot to practice your green thumb. The plant shop is small but they have some of the cutest terracotta pots if you’re looking to add some spark to your home office setup. #springblossomjakarta #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

Arumdalu Farm offers breathtaking views in tranquil surroundings. Enjoy the sunflower garden as you dine on locally sourced, sustainably produced, plant-based meals, in a completely sustainable building. Arumdalu Farm showcases an urban farm concept including organic farming, prefabricated building, and a farm-to-table cafe. One other reason to visit is its Instaworthy spot, the sunflower garden. Many visitors spend time enjoying the area which is full of sunflowers. One can also see the sunflowers from the prefab house, a glass enclosure where one can enjoy dishes like tempeh burgers served with sweet potato chips, paired with plant-derived speciality drinks like bunga telang (butterfly pea) or kawista (Limonia acidissima) which taste like cola and sarsaparilla. #springblossomjakarta #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

Bali is famous as beautiful island with it’s nature. Flower in Bali has so many kinds that we could see in this beautiful island. While in Bali, one can’t help but notice a myriad of colourful offerings consisting of mixed flower seen all over the island, particularly near temples as well as during religious ceremonies. It’s also not easy to miss the beautiful Balinese-style gardens filled with tropical flowers and greenery all over the island. Balinese flowers often used in offerings, religious ceremonies, decorations, or in a Balinese-style garden. In the day to day life flowers are routinely used as decorations in temples, on statues, as offerings for the gods, and during prayers. Ujung Water Palace

Taman Ujung Karangasem. This is like a huge park with a beautiful pond and palace in the center. There is also an area at the top of a very high stairway which we passed on. They charge 50,000 idr for admission. A touch high in my opinion. The palace is beautiful but no longer furnished. It's main attraction is that it is not as crowded as Tirta Ganga. Worth a stop if you're touring around. The history of it and the views close to the see is awesome!!! Very well conserved and lots of nature around it. The drive from Denpasar is about 2 hours through the highway, but totally worth it. It has a small museum inside with the history of the monarchy in the island. #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #awesomepic #nyedestinations #unforgettableexperiences #springblossombali #springblossoms#urbanexplorer

When in Bali be careful not to step on offerings you will notice on the streets in front of shops, restaurants, houses, markets, basically everywhere. These offerings are called canang sari, where canang roughly translates to baskets of flowers and sari to essence. These baskets are made of banana or palm leaves and are nicely folded into little boxes, that are then filled with colourful flowers, some food (we mostly saw some candy or chocolates) and with burning incense stick and placed in front of houses and other places every morning to show gratitude and to wish for good for yourself, your family and others. 🙏🌸 . We can learn so much from this Balinese ritual, from taking the time to think about things we are grateful for, to having a ritual that guides us through this, which makes it easier to incorporate something like this into our everyday life. . I must admit that I don't have such ritual and sometimes just rush through day without taking the time to slow down my mind and think about my day, my experiences and just gather thoughts. . #urbanexplorer #springblossoms #springblossombali #awesomepic #unforgettableexperiences #springblossoms#urbanexplorer
