The Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum

The Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum is a very unique experience in that it is a museum inside a legendary aircraft carrier. At the museum you can view decommissioned planes, ships and other aircrafts that are no longer in service. It was founded in 1982 and is situated along the coast of New York’s famous Hudson River. It is just a short walk away from Times Square so it is very convenient to get to. There are guided tours scheduled throughout the day which are very informative, giving you history on all the amazing vehicles on display at the museum, You also get to tour into the inner hull of the aircraft carrier and see interesting things like the controls, missiles and living quarters.
