Jiufen Old Street

Jiufen Old Street should be a must-visit for visitors to Taipei. The area was once a gold mining town but now is more famous for its teahouses and scenic views of the mountains and sea. It also apparently inspired the Japanese movie Spirited Away, so there are lots of shops selling Studio Ghibli souvenirs. It is over an hour from the central parts of Taipei, but we found a direct bus here from Ximen station. #timetotravel #taiwan #taipei #jiufenoldstreet
