Ostennisfjord, Lofoten Islands, Norway

Osternisfjord is a fjord in the Lofoten Islands, Nordland County, Arctic Norway. The 13-kilometer-long fjord almost divides Dongwan Island into two. At the southern end, the fjord joins the Westfjords to the north of Svolvær. The deepest end of the fjord is the village of Laupsta. The E10 highway runs through the entire village and extends along the western coastline of the fjord. It is also the only road for land access to and from the Lofoten Islands. The village of Leyland and the highest peak of the East Bay Island, the 1146-meter-high Seagrafstingen Peak, are located on the east coast, and the island of Littlemora is located south of the mouth of the fjord. The first time I passed this fjord was when I was heading to Svolvær. Compared with the beautiful scenery I saw along the way, I didn't have the desire to stop and take pictures here. But after dinner on the third day, when I left Swalwell to pursue the Northern Lights, I discovered the Northern Lights when I drove here again in a big circle, and I felt that the night here was more beautiful than during the day. Moreover, there are almost no other vehicles and no light pollution on the fjord road at night.
