Jonker Street @ Melaka

#malaysia Jonker Street comes to life as the sun sets slowly. Many streets vendor will start to set up the stalls in the evening. Come to the market with an empty stomach and enjoy a variety of food! Many seating areas for individual stalls as well. Brown sugar or gula melaka is a local souvenir to buy from the area. There are also many local souvenir biscuits shops near the entrance of the street. My favourite is the “三叔公” shop. I enjoy the peanut butter waffle biscuits from the stall. There are also many shops selling clothes and toys. I would describe the area as a upsize or upgraded night market. ohh~ there are also interesting trishaws rides around too.
