The entrance ticket included an excellent audio guide, which made exploring this vast Gothic masterpiece even more immersive. Malbork Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built in the 13th century by the Teutonic Knights and is the largest brick castle in the world. Despite the windy, chilly weather, the lack of crowds made it feel like we had the castle to ourselves. We were awestruck by the intricate architecture, expansive courtyards, and fascinating history woven into every corner. Slowly wandering through its halls and towers was a mesmerizing experience.
