London’s Regent Street

Regent Street is a 1.3 km long road in Central London that is also synonymous with shopping. There are many flagship retail shops here and the decorations for Christmas are truly fascinating. It seems that there are crowds every minute of the day and this is where people from all walks of life cross path with each other everyday. Regent Street was one of the earliest planned developments of London and the structure developments here were to replace the medieval layout unique of many places in London. The street was designed with the vision of having wide and broad boulevards, just like those seen in France but not possible due to land ownership issues, and therefore the final design resulted in one of the roads situated further west than originally planned. #celebratewithtrip #london
