Beautiful church of England with history

#ldninsider Address: 20 Deans Yd, London SW1P 3PA, United Kingdom Westminster Abbey, formally titled the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster, is a large, mainly Gothic abbey church in the City of Westminster, London, England, just to the west of the Palace of Westminster This is an amazing church. You could spend all day in it if you wanted. The amount of history here was well beyond what I had originally imagined. Not only are there a lot of ties to British religious history, but British history in general. There are also ties to significant scientific, art, and literary icons throughout the last several hundred years. The free audio guide with your tour was also very helpful in giving a more in-depth look at some of the statues, memorials, and other sites to see during your visit. Overall I highly recommend this tour!
