Ancient Town of Lijiang

The Old Town of Lijiang is a must-visit destination. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a large waterwheel and a red brick wall marked with UNESCO's seal. It's truly a place you shouldn't miss. Strolling through the town, you'll find traditional houses and, in the evening, there are cultural performances like fan dances, though it can get quite crowded, making it hard to watch. The town is adorned with flowers, and many visitors dress in traditional Chinese attire, adding to the charm. The weather is slightly hot and humid during the day, but at night, the buildings and restaurants light up beautifully, offering a different kind of atmosphere. It seems like the town is open all day and night, but unfortunately, I only had an hour to explore, which felt too short.
