A small but beautiful castle

#myhiddengems So, I had long wanted to visit Lichtenstein castle. Weekends were the only opportunity I had. I decided to combine our trips to Lichtenstein and Hohenzollern like most travellers to this region would. And while Hohenzollern is visibly larger and more impressive, Lichtenstein was what i liked more. The setting is incredible and dramatic. It hangs on the side of the mountain and that allows for such an angle of view when coming here. You would find that the castle is much smaller than many of the other castles you would see in Germany. But this one is impressive nevertheless. The whole complex is effectively within a park, which includes the car park (if in case you are driving here) It also has a decent restaurant, play areas for children and rest rooms.
