Looking back at Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village.

We set off from Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and arrived at Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village in Leishan County, Guizhou Province late at night. We hurried to the viewing platform in the night breeze, overlooking the village's thousands of lights before returning to the homestay to rest. The homestay was quite average and damp, but we made it through the night. In the early morning, the village was quiet and sparsely populated. We strolled around, stopping to see the Wind and Rain Bridge, listen to the crowing of roosters, wander through Gage Ancient Alley, and visit the Miao Museum. It was a very pleasant experience. The entire village is built on a mountain, with houses stacked on top of each other in an orderly manner. It is said that the village has 1,468 households and more than 6,000 people, 99.5% of whom are Miao people, making it the largest Miao village in China and even the world. Those interested in traditional Miao songs and dances can go to the Lusheng Square to watch performances. There are two free song and dance performances during the day, where you can watch wonderful original ecological song and dance performances such as the Toasting Song and Lusheng Dance, and even join in the fun with the Miao people.
