Ninnaji Temple

#tokyotrip Address: 33 Omuroouchi, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, Japan Ninnaji Temple is a very important Buddhist temple founded in the 9th century and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple is rich in history and cultural significance, with impressive architecture, including the main hall and pagoda, as well as extensive surrounding gardens. The atmosphere is quiet and shady. It is worth a visit. #temple #kyoto #japan

Ninna-ji Temple

Another significant Buddhist temple in Kyoto is Ninna-ji. It is located in Ukyō-ku. The best part of the tour for me was really the peace and quite. There's not much crowd in this attraction, unlike the other temples of Kyoto where countless people go. So, I loved it here. I was able to really take in the view. Also, it is the head temple of the Omuro School of the Shingon Sect of Busdhist, so there are a lot of Buddhism students around. Great experience! Entrance fee is ¥500! #wintergetaway
