National Textiles Museum

#meetkualalumpur Address:26, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur. Getting there: It is around 8 minutes walk from the Masjid Jamek LRT station. Highlights: The National Textiles Museum is a very nicely arranged and well-preserved museum. There are a lots of explanation on history here. There are actual artifacts on display along with historical photos. The functional looms were a highlight for me. A bit dim light in some places but it is understandable as it will be required to preserve the original plant based colors. The workers here are helpful as well. They will guide you the way you need to go. Entrance fee is RM2. Opening hours: 9am to 5pm daily. #visitmalaysia #kuala_lumpur
