Tanjung Piai, the Southernmost Point of Asia

We visited Tanjung Piai National Park, an interesting park consisting of coastal mangroves and inter-tidal mudflats. Mudflats are soft and muddy soil where creatures such as crabs, mud skippers, cockles and lizards thrive. This park was approved by the Johor State Government as Johor National Park. Tanjung Piai is a cape in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia. It is the southernmost point of Peninsular Malaysia and the most southern point of mainland Eurasia. Remember to take a photo in front of the platform of the southern most tip of mainland Asia as a memento of your presence here. I was lucky enough to spot a pair of mummy and baby monkeys. So cute!
